WWWF Championship Wrestling for 8/18:

We see some of the footage of the NWA World Title match between Superstar Graham and World Champion Terry Funk, including the finish that saw Pat Patterson hiding under the ring and costing Graham the title, McMahon interviews The Grand Wizard and Pat Patterson, they call Graham a coward. Vince mentions that Patterson was heavily fined for his interference during the NWA World Title match and was also charged with the cost of making a new WWWF Heavyweight Title. Patterson said he didn't mind buying a new belt since it will soon be around his waist.

Also on the show:  SD Jones and Tony Atlas beat The Golden Terrors,  WWWF Tag Team Champion Chief Jay Strongbow beat Baron Scicluna,  Ivan Putski beat Mr. X ,  Pat Patterson beat Danny Johnson by DQ when Superstar Graham hit the ring and attacked Patterson the two brawled as the show went off the air

WWWF Championship Wrestling for 8/25:

Vince McMahon showed an interview he conducted at the close of last weeks show with Billy Graham after Graham had attacked Pat Patterson. Graham said Patterson may have paid in dollars for what he did, but he still has to pay in blood. Graham says he will take his pound of flesh, he will make a withdraw from Patterson's blood bank. Graham says this isn't over, Patterson wants to call him a coward, but it is Patterson who attacks from behind, from under rings, and doesn't show up when its time to fight. Graham tells Patterson he is going to give him the same advice he gave Bruiser Brody,  if he has any prayers to say them now and say them fast because those prayers will be his last

He interviewed current champions Colon and Strongbow who are looking forward to the tournament, McMahon listed the teams in the tournament, SD Jones and Tony Atlas, Jerry and Johnny Valiant,  Butcher Nova and Louis Cyr and finally Ivan Putski will team with Tony Parisi.  McMahon also mentions how Carlos Colon will be facing the Russian Bulldozer Nikolai Volkoff in singles action, in Spanish Colon promises to put a stop to the Red Menace once and for all. This lead to Fred Blassie coming out with Nikolai and Spiros Arion and challenging the Tag Team Champions to a match next week, which they accepted.

These were a good bunch of shows.  I'd say the last one, on Sept. 8, was probably the one I would've most enjoyed, as far as the matches go.

Nice to see the Valiant brothers back together, unfortunately Jimmy's not there, but Johnny and Jerry will continue the Valiant brothers legacy very nicely, I'm sure.

Agent Sands: No. I'll shoot the cook. My car's parked out back anyway.

Love the tag tourney for the number contenders. The Valiants are the favs for me.

I love the Graham and Patterson confrontations here.

Colon and Strongbow against Volkoff and Arion was the best contest for me.

Great shows.

good to see Moondog Mayne return to the WWWF.

With Jerry and Johnny getting together earlier here than they did IRL maybe the team can last longer.

These shows really resemble the old WWWF shows I've watched over the years. Superstar Graham-Patterson is a real dream feud, especially if Graham had been playing the good guy role like he is in this version. I look forward to seeing where you take the territory from here.
