Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling TV Taping for 9/12/77:
 
-Show begins with VTR of Andre the Giant wrestling four Mr. X's and defeating them. Then he is attacked by a gigantic masked man afterwards and left laying in the ring.
 
-Bob and David are standing at ringside with Andre the Giant! He says he doesn't know the big masked man or why he attacked him but he will be on the look out for him! Bob tells Andre that they now know that the masked man is The Masked Mammoth managed by Rock Hunter! Andre says he doesn't care who he is he will make him pay!
 
-TV MATCH 1-Andre enters the ring and defeats Joey Rossi with ease @4:09
 
-TV MATCH 2- "U.S. Heavyweight Championship Qualifier Match" Mr. #1 Paul Jones defeats Kurt Von Steiger with the airplane spin @6:34
 
-Bob and David interview Rock Hunter and The Masked Mammoth. Hunter says he is here with his new man The Masked Mammoth to make a statement in Mid-Atlantic Wrestling. He says that they will destroy Andre the Giant and send a message throughout the wrestling world, that The Masked Mammoth is the toughest, largest, most dangerous man in the world!
 
-TV MATCH 3- "U.S. Heavyweight Championship Qualifier Match" Mongolian Stomper defeats Don Kernodle in a tough match following a shoulder breaker @5:43
 
-TV MATCH 4- "U.S. Heavyweight Championship Qualifier Match" "Nature Boy" Ric Flair defeats Tiger Conway Sr. with the figure four leg lock @5:34
 
-Bob tells the fans that we now have the first three entrants in the tournament: Ric Flair, Paul Jones, and Mongolian Stomper. We will see three more "Qualifier Matches" next week and then two more matches the next to finalize all eight entrants. This is surely shaping up to be a very "Special" tournament!
