.
.
.
Following the match, Slater makes his way to the Broadcast desk and tells Dick Steinborn that he’s not done yet, and that he wants another TV title match, and he knows that he can beat him.

This brings out Dick Steinborn from the back, and he tells Slater that he’s sick and tired of proving to the world that he’s the most superior wrestler.  However, if Slater wants to be humiliated one more time, next week he will put the title on the line in a 2 out of 3 falls, so he can embarrass him twice in a row.

Slater accepts, as DeRusha promises to find out if the Championship Committee will accept this challenge.

Lanza looks at Pringle and tells him that he better be sure about this.

.
.
.
High Flyers (Greg Gagne & Jim Brunzell) defeats Blackjack Lanza & Terry Yorkston (With Percival Pringle III), when Brunzell pinned Yorkston with a Double Dropkick @ 5:32.

Following the match, Lanza is upset and begins to pummel Yorkston beating him from one end of the ring to the other, and he then delivers a vicious clothesline that sends Yorkston to the outside.

Lanza then screams at Pringle telling him to find the right partner, or there are some heads that are going to roll.

Crusher connects the Love Brothers with a clothesline, and tags in the Bruiser.   Bruiser comes in on fire and pummels both Reginald and Hartford with haymakers, and clotheslines, as Crusher gets back in the ring.   We’ve got all 4 men brawling in the ring, and referee Ron Goguen tries to get Crusher and Hartford Love out of the ring, as Bruiser pummels Reginald Love.   Bruiser connects with a bodyslam and pin, but as the referee is distracted Bobby Bass comes running from the back with a chair, and hits Bruiser with it, and places Reginald on top.

Referee Ron Goguen turns around and goes down for the count.

In the meantime, on the outside Crusher grabs Bobby Bass and begins choking him, as referee Ron Goguen tries to get Crusher back in his corner.

In the ring, Hartford delivers a knee to the back of Bruiser, and Reginald kicks him in the gut and picks him up for Pile Driver.  Hartford quickly climbs to the second rope and leaps off driving Bruisers’ legs down and Reginald falls back with the Pile Driver.

Reginald covers, as Hartford turns referee Ron Goguen around, and goes down for the count.

Pringle better find a partner before Lanza sends him back home to his momma.

Slater vs. Steinborn will reach new levels next week.

The Love Brothers better watch out for The High Flyers.

The Masked Superstar last week: Dr. D this week. Pedro better watch out.

Great show.

Lanza is an idiot!  Terry Yorkston is the best partner he'll ever have, and he blew it, first by costing them the match, then attacking Yorkston for no good reason!

I'm looking forward to seeing the High Flyers challenge the Love Brothers for the titles.

Very good show. The Great Malenko is already starting to establish himself as the top manager in the area with the Masked Superstar and Dr. D in his stable. Both of these young men have the potential to completely dominate the AWA.

I would have liked to have seen Greg Gagne pushed as a singles, but I'm a huge mark for the High Flyer's so I'm fine with the way that things have turned out.

It's good to see Adnan remaining as a face. My idea was that the intelligent fans of the Midwest could recognize, respect and admire a great wrestler regardless of his nationality.

I liked the Love's in the park. I can see them walking and picking flowers with the tie-dye and free love. I hate that kind of thing LOL. You gave us a great show that was a fun thing to watch.

Since my TV Taping was done on the morning of the Love winning the titles, the fans at home can only see them on Video for now.

I've begun to plant the seeds, and I hope that you'll like what I have planned for the upcoming months.

The flagship of the AWA is Midwest Championship Wrestling and it is great to see you back up and running here.

I like the build you are giving Dick Slater here. If anyone can be a long term partner for Lanza, he might be it. Add that to a strong feud with Steinborne and Slater is a star in the making.

I'll agree with Red and MACW, Malenko will hae a huge stable with just the Superstar and Dr. D. Any new faces will only make life more difficult for your champion.

The Gold being the Love Brother's best friend sounds like the champs are also looking for diamonds to go with it.

Great show.
