NWA WESTERN STATES WRESTLING (AMARILLO)
Plainview, Texas
Bell Time 8PM
 
-1- In his impressive debut the 400 pound One Man Gang def. Yoshi Fujiwara by crushing him the corner with a splash. (5:11)
 
-2- Dick Murdoch def. Billy Spears after driving the big man's head into the canvas with a piledriver. (13:11)
 
-3- Paul Orndorff def. Buddy Wayne with a powerslam. (15:14).
 
-4- Robert Fuller def. Chris Taylor by catching the massive Olympian with a flying double axe-handle smash off the second rope. (10:11)
 
-5- Western States Heavyweight Champion Gino Hernandez (w/ Bobby Davis) def. Bobby Eaton after a back-and-forth match with a flying elbow drop from the top rope. (27:35)
 
-6- NWA International Heavyweight Champion Dory Funk Jr. def. The Super Destroyer II by pulling the big man into a roll-up and holding on for a surprise pin. The big masked men went ballistic after the match ended, but the fans were very happy to see Funk come away with a win over over the much larger II.

One Man Gang with a big win. Funny to see him in the opener.
 
Great to see Orndorff with the singles win.
 
Fuller shows he can do it all against the former college star Taylor.
 
The Eaton and Hernandez was just the right length to seel the story.
 
Funk, Jr. continues his winning ways.
 
Great Amarillo action.

Great debut for the Gang!
 
Good wins for Orndorff and Murdoch.
 
Nice win for Fuller.
 
Love the action between Gino and Eaton! Great matchup!
