NACW 9/19/77 TV TAPING
Sep 18th, 2007, 7:50pm

9/19/77 the Grand Olympic Auditorium Los Angeles,CA
SIN taping live- Miguel Alonzo-Luis Magana host
syndicated version- Dick Lane host

everyone is trying to get back and recuperate from another great tour of Hawaii last week. the main thing that Dick Lane says he is still in shock about is the return of Los Misioneros de la Muerte...
1. Cowboy Bob Yuma makes his return to NACW by defeating Hector Lamas.
Lord Alfred Hays talks with Jeff Walton about some  changes in NACW in the coming weeks...

Yuma and NORTH AMERICAN champion, Billy Anderson join Walton. Anderson talks about the attack last week on himself, Roddy Piper and el Santo in Hawaii..Yuma offers any and all help he can "to fight back those Mexican terrors.."
2. Masa Fuchi defeats the returning Dennis Hall as Hiro Matsuda watches on from a distance....

3. Miguel Perez makes his NACW TV debute by teaming with Rocky Johson to defeat Los Brazos
as the match ends, Walton is amazed to see Masa Fuchi standing next to him. he asks Fuchi what he is doing, Fuchi looks at the microphone and camera with a confused look on his face and screams one word...."Piper...Piper...PIPER!!!!"
and he wanders to the back....

Perez-Johnson address the fans..with disgust at the Missionaries...
4. in a special tv match, Buddy Roberts hobbles out on his crutches to accompany Jerry Brown-Michael Hayes as they battle Genichiro Tenyru-Terry Gordy.
Matsuda walks out to watch. Brown pins Tenyru for the win in 8:14.
Matsuda starts to argue with Hayes, to get him to leave his partners and come back to his solitary training. Hayes says he will not leave the Hollywood Blondes when they need him...

5. with tv time remaining...Cien Caras returns to NACW to battle Perro Aguayo...
TV time has expired but the match goes on. finally at 6:54, Aguayo pins Caras
-------------------------------------------------
in dark bouts after TV:

Masa Fuchi is beaten by Miguel Perez

John Tolos-Lord Alfred Hayes defeat Jerry Brown-Michael Hayes.

non-title match:
NORTH AMERICAN champion Billy Anderson battles el Texano.
not a bad match. the fans are furious at Texano. he fights hard andnearly wins many times but Anderson is too smart for him.
the match ends when Anderson delivers a Thesz press, Texano kicks out...Anderson gives him a neckbreaker and follows with a sleeper to get the win.

The angle with Matsuda-Hayes-Blondes is a great one. I cannot wait to see how that one plays out, it will certainly make NACW one of the territories to watch this fall! Great to see Yuma back in the area, from what I hear the fans always loved him.

I agree with Fever that the angle with Hays and Matsuda is a hoot to follow.

The Fuchi actions are indeed strange.

Perez and Johnson are a real crowd pleasing team.

I love the Anderson-Yuma teaming. I remember when...

Great show.
