Buck Forrester vs. Jack Armstrong The match goes back and forth and both have their chances. Armstrong rolls up Forrester and grabs the tights for the win.

Alexis Smirnoff vs. Coloso Colosetti Smirnoff jumps Colosetti before the bell. He pounds away at the man from Argentina. Colosetti rallies, but the Russian is too tough. He wins with a Russian neckbreaker.

Third Match, one fall, 30 minutes
Juan Sebastian vs. Buddy Wolff The veteran goes to work on Sebastian. It’s all Wolff. He works over Sebastian and pulls him up several times at two. He finally pins him with a powerslam.

Fourth Match, one fall, 30 minutes
Jimmy Garvin w/Sir Oliver Humperdink vs. Ric Drasin The powerful Drasin takes over early. He uses strength moves to control the early action. Garvin takes to the floor to confer with Humperdink. Garvin returns and goes to mat wrestling. He takes Drasin down and applies an armbar. Ric gets to the ropes and the hold is broken. Drasin puts up a good fight, but Garvin wins with a sleeper hold.

Fifth Match, one fall, 45 minutes
World Jr. Heavyweight Championship)
Jerry Brisco (Champion) vs. Nelson Royal w/Great Bolo Brisco’s World Jr. Heavyweight Title is on the line, and Royal will be taking the fight to the Champion. Royal, thanks to the Great Bolo, has changed his way of thinking. The early moments of the match are a wrestling clinic. Both of these men are very skilled both men gain advantages and get near falls, but neither man is able to win.Brisco goes for the figure four, but Royal catches him an inside cradle. Jerry kicks out. The match continues and things begin to go Brisco’s way. Bolo climbs up on the ring apron. He takes a swing at Brisco, but Jerry ducks and Bolo decks Royal. Jerry covers him for the win.

Semi-Final, one fall, 60 minutes
Non-Title Match
The Manchurians (Florida Tag Team Champions) w/Sir Oliver Humperdink vs. Mike Graham and Steve Keirn Graham grabs the mic, “Humperdink, you coward! Why isn’t this a title match?” Humperdink begs off. The bell rings and it’s a pier six brawl. Referee Frenchy Bernard tries to get things sorted out. Finally it’s Manchurian #2 vs. Keirn. The Manchurian works Keirn in to the wrong corner. Both Manchurians work him over and Humperdink gets in a few shots. Keirn is able to escape and tag in Graham. Mike cleans house. The Manchurians and Humperdink confer on the floor. They return and the match continues to be a brawl. Graham and Keirn hold their own, but the Manchurians seem to turn the tide. Manchurian #1 goes for a clothesline, but Graham ducks. He traps the Manchurian in a backslide and Bernard counts the fall. The Champions have been upset!

NWA World Championship
Wahoo McDaniel (Champion) vs. Jack Brisco The crowd is ready for this. Both men are very popular and it should be a clean, scientific match. Both men shake hands and the bell rings. They lock up and Brisco grabs a side headlock. Wahoo reverses it into an armbar and Brisco escapes. The crowd cheers the wrestling. They lock up again and this time Wahoo grabs a side headlock. Jack shoots him into the ropes and drops him with a shoulder tackle. The first few minutes go back and forth and neither man gains an advantage. Wahoo uses his size to gain an edge and Brisco is in trouble. Wahoo goes for the underhook, but Brisco reverses it into a back slide and comes within a second of winning the World Title. Jack whips Wahoo into the ropes and backdrops him to the mat. Jack goes for the figure four, but Wahoo kicks out. The World Champion begins to chop away at Brisco. He backs Jack into the ropes and whips him into the opposite corner. Jack staggers out and Wahoo catches him in the sleeper. Brisco gets to the ropes. The rest of the match is dead even. The time limit expires and the bell rings. Both men shake hands. These two will meet again.
