Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling Re-cap Version:
-Bob and David open the show with an interview with the returning Blackjack Mulligan! Blackjack says it is great to be back in the Mid-Atlantic area! He says he still has hard feelings towards one Bobby Duncum and that the Mid-Atlantic isn't big enough for them both! He says he will run Duncum off if it is the last thing he does!
-TV MATCH 1 "U.S. Heavyweight Championship Tournament Qualifier Match"-Angelo Mosca defeats Sam Steamboat with a shoulder breaker @5:23
-TV MATCH 2 "U.S. Heavyweight Championship Tournament Qualifier Match"-Ricky Steamboat defeats Mr. X #1 with a flying cross body block from the top rope @6:09
-Bob interviews Rock Hunter and The Masked Mammoth at ringside. Hunter says that they are still hot on the trail of Andre the Giant! He says that his Mammoth will destroy the Giant and prove to the rest of the world that he is the one true Giant in this sport!
-TV MATCH 3- The Masked Mammoth w/Rock Hunter destroys Mike Davis and Joey Rossi in a handi-cap match @4:01
-After commercial Bob is with "Nature Boy" Ric Flair who says that on September 29th he will once again reign supreme, as he declares victory in the U.S. Heavyweight Championship Tournament! Flair says he doesn't care who else qualifies because he will run over and through them all! WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
-TV MATCH 4 "U.S. Heavyweight Championship Tournament Qualifier Match"-Blackjack Mulligan defeats The Masked Russian w/Saul Weingeroff in a tough one after a flying elbow off the ropes and then applying the claw @7:22
-Bob runs down the six qualifiers thus far: Ric Flair, Paul Jones, Mongolian Stomper, Ricky Steamboat, Angelo Mosca and Blackjack Mulligan! Next week we will see the final two qualifier matches until then.........so long for now!!!
