Match 1-
 
ERICH FROELICH defeats GEORGE GAISER with a fisherman’s suplex.

Match 2-
 
ZOLTAN THE GREAT defeats BOB GRIFFIN with a running knee lift after Griffin fell to the floor.

Match 3-
 
VICTOR JOVICA defeats CICLON SUDAMERICANO
 
This is the first match for Jovica since his unexpected turn on Hercules Ayala. He chop blocks the right knee of Ciclon as he turns back to his corner after the ring instructions. Jovica keeps on that knee for the whole match. Ciclon tries to do as much of his high-flying arsenal as he can, but having only one good knee makes that tough.
 
Throughout the match, Jovica refers to Sudamericano as Ayala, Monsoon, and Colon as he beats him up. Even with Ciclon having a couple of rallies, Jovica proves too much to overcome. Jovica gets the submission with a Boston crab.

Match 4-
 
MR. JUSTICE defeats SUPER MEDICO
 
Justice works on the neck muscles of Medico early on in this contest. After a criss cross, Medico catches Justice in a hot shot maneuver. For the remaining portion of the match, Medico sets Justice for a cobra clutch by working on the neck muscles.
 
Medico tries for one move too many, however. He tries for a reverse flying elbow. Justice ducks. Medico hits the mat hard. Justice slings Medico into the ropes and applies the sleeper on the rebound. Medico tries to resist but he goes out.

Match 5-
 
EL RAYO/ ROBERTO SOTO defeats GIL HAYES/ ROCK RIDDLE
 
Both teams are intense for this match. Hayes and Riddle take an early advantage by taking advantage of a missed fist drop by El Rayo. True to form, though, Hayes and Riddle get arrogant with the male fans and flirty with the females. A series of clotheslines and a forward roll allow El Rayo to tag in Soto.
 
Soto and Rayo rebound and isolate Riddle in their corner. Hayes gets Landa’s attention by pointing out the ladies in what has become the Red Velvet Room at ringside. Riddle gets in a European forearm to the Bonanza salad bar of Soto. Hayes and Riddle go back on top.
 
The end of the match also involves that Room. Soto is about to be thrown into the heel’s corner. Hayes takes out a set of brass knucks and puts them on his hand. He motions to the women at ringside. He does not see Soto make a reversal. Hayes hits Riddle with the punch. The impact throws Hayes to the floor. Soto rolls up Riddle for the three count.

INVADER I defeats VICTOR RIVERA
 
The crowd is solidly behind Rivera in this contest. Invader I starts to work on Rivera’s ribs early in this contest. A series of shoulder tackles in the corner has Rivera gasping for breath. In desperation, Rivera pulls at the trunks of Invader I and pulls him through the ropes and to the floor. Rivera manages to catch his breath as Invader I is outside the ring.
 
Rivera hits Invader I with a big knee as he re-enters the ring. A series of body slams has the masked man woozy. Rivera goes in for a power slam but Invader I gets his foot on the rope at the last minute.
 
Both men enjoy advantages and the match is nip-and-tuck. El Diablo Mascaras comes out and gets Rivera’s attention. The Invader is able to get behind Rivera and executes a belly-to-back suplex. He follows up with a heart punch for the win.

Match 7-
 
PUERTO RICAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
HERCULES AYALA defeats TOSH TOGO
 
Togo bends the rules early and weakens Ayala with chops to the throat that he sneakily hides from referee Fernando Landa. He then goes in and softens the abdominals of the champion. Ayala slides down Togo’s back on a body slam attempt. He follows up with an atomic drop and a short clothesline. Ayala slaps a rear chin lock on Togo to get his wind back.
 
Eventually, Ayala turns his efforts toward working on Togo’s back. A full Boston crab has Togo giving it everything to reach the ropes. Landa backs Ayala up and Togo goes into his tights for some suspicious powder. Landa sees it and takes the bag from the Oriental star. Togo shoves Landa and the referee points to the WWC logo on his shirt. Togo shoves him again and Landa retaliates. Togo falls back into a small package from Ayala for the three count. Togo is incensed, but Ayala grabs the Puerto Rican title belt and goes to the locker room.
