Sep 24th, 2007, 11:04pm

Georgia Championship Wrestling
September 24, 1977
Macon, Coliseum
Macon, Georgia
Ring Announcer: Fred Ward
Referees: Bobby Simmons and Ron West
Bell time: 8pm
TV Taping

1st Event of the Evening
Roy Lee Welch v/s “Bruiser” Bill White

The hotly contested opening bout featured the return of two highly regarded grapplers to the rings of Georgia Championship Wrestling. We see an excellent back and forth battle, which ends in a draw at the 10 minute mark.

Official Decision: Roy Lee Welch v/s “Bruiser” Bill White time limit draw

TV Taping
Mike “Action” Jackson v/s 300lb Sylvano Sousa
Mr. Wrestling and Mr. Wrestling 2 v/s Red Raiders
Tommy “Wildfire” Rich and Ricky Fields v/s Mad Dog and Butcher Vachon w/ Ron Wright

Non-televised

5th Event of the Evening
Cowboy Bob Kelly v/s “Cajun Cowboy” RT Tyler w/ Sputnik Monroe

The veteran cowboy took the young, arrogant Tyler out back to the woodshed tonight. But in the end Sputnik Monroe’s distracting tactics allowed the Cajun to gain the upper hand and put the saddle tramp away with a devastating lariat.

Official Decision: “Cajun Cowboy” RT Tyler w/ Sputnik Monroe defeated Cowboy Bob Kelly

6th Event of the Evening
“Southern Stud” Ron Fuller v/s “Big Cat” Sonny King

This battle of the big men comes to an end when the Stud gets the upper hand in a brawl on the floor and then beats the 10 count back into the ring. Sonny King is unable to do recover quickly enough to beat the count himself and loses this one by count out.

Official Decision: Ron Fuller defeated Sonny King COR

Main Event of the Evening
Georgia Heavyweight Championship Match
© Thunderbolt Patterson v/s “Vicious” Vic Rain w/ Baron Josef Von Turco

Rain stomped away at Patterson really beating the champion down but he made the mistake of allowing ‘Bolt to get his second wind and that always spells trouble for anyone facing the champion. ‘Bolt unloads on Rain and finishes the Canadian off with a big headbutt.

Official Decision: Thunderbolt Patterson defeated “Vicious” Vic Rain w/ Baron Josef Von Turco.
