INTERMISSION

MATCH #5

Mil Mascaras  vs  Killer Karl Krupp w/Gerhardt Kaiser

Mascaras starts the match cautiously as he knows the reputation of Krupp.  Soon, Mascaras picks up the pace and stuns the German with arm-drags, hip-tosses, head-scissors, a surfboard, and dropkicks.  Krupp rolls to ringside to confer with Kaiser.  Mil can't wait and dives through the ropes onto Krupp.  The Killer is tossed back into the ring and Mil prepares to re-enter.  Kaiser grabs his foot and distracts Mil long enough for Krupp to recover.  Krupp pounds away on the masked great and has Mascaras hurting.  Krupp takes full control with headlocks, bodyslams, and a camel clutch.  Mil looks for an opening, but can't find one until Krupp releases the hold and picks him up.  Mil blocks repeated punch attempts and catches Krupp with three straight flying tackles.  Krupp, desperate, reaches into his tights and slips a foreign object into his glove.  Mascaras climbs the ropes and soars at the German with a cross-bodyblock.  At the last second, Krupp nails Mil with the glove.  Mascaras is sent reeling.  Krupp covers Mil and places his feet on the ropes for extra leverage.  The referee doesn't see it and counts three.  Krupp and Kaiser stumble to the dressing room fortunate to be the winners.

WINNER:  KILLER KARL KRUPP @18:55

MATCH #6

Kenji Shibuya, Kengo Kimura, & Pak Song Nam w/Gen. George Cannon
                                             vs
Big Daddy, Big Red, & Luis Martinez

Six-man mayhem is the only way to describe this battle. The Asian trio fought for their lives as Big Daddy and his friends sought more revenge for the vicious attack on TV.   The battle went back and forth with each team gaining advantages at different times.  In the end, the inexperience of Kimura proved to be the downfall of his team.  Late in the match, all six men were in the ring.  Big Daddy had his back turned to Kimura while holding Shibuya in a full-nelson.  Kimura climbed the ropes and prepared to hit the big Brit with a flying judo chop.  Just as he launched, Martinez alerted Big Daddy who turned to allow the chop to strike Shibuya.  Kenji crashed to the mat.  Martinez wrapped up Kimura in a Mexican stump puller, Big Red help Nam in a bearhug, and Big Daddy splashed Shibuya for the win.  Cannon was seen chewing out Kimura for his error as the Asians left the ringside area.  The three heroes celebrated their victory with the fans.

WINNERS:  BIG RED, BIG DADDY, & LUIS MARTINEZ @12:32

MATCH #7

WWA HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
Dick the Bruiser  vs  Mad Dog Vachon

Vachon, the hated Georgia star, comes North for a shot at the coveted WWA Heavyweight Title.  Bruiser enters the ring and it is obvious to everyone that he does not belong anywhere near a ring.  His left arm is taped to his side as he will attempt to battle Vachon with one arm.  An evil sneer crosses the face of the Mad Dog as the bell rings.  Vachon goes on the offensive and makes quick work of the protective tape, exposing the useless left arm of his opponent.  Vachon clubs the arm and twists it until Bruiser falls to his knees.  Vachon scratches the back of Dick with both hands and kicks him in the stomach.  Vachon returns to the arm and applies an armbar.  The pain Bruiser is going through is unbearable, but he refuses to quit.  Vachon locks on a hammerlock and wrenches Dick's arm until his wrist nearly touches the back of his head.  Tears begin to form in the corners of the Bruiser's eyes.  The referee strongly pleas with Bruiser to quit, but his answer is no.  Vachon decides to end the match.  He lifts Bruiser into position for a piledriver.  Somehow, Dick musters the strength to backdrop Vachon.  Martinez, Mascaras, Wrestling #2, and Big Daddy come to the ring to support the Bruiser.  Seeing his friends there rejuvenates Dick.  He begins right-handed punches.  Kicks follow.  Bruiser is on a roll!  More punches.  More kicks.  Then, Bruiser catches Vachon with eight straight knee-drops.  Vachon is down.  Bruiser just has to pin him.  As he goes to cover Vachon, Mad Dog bites the injured left arm and will not let go.  Finally, Vachon is pulled off of Dick and re-applies the hammerlock.  Vachon senses victory.  He applies even more pressure.  Dick drapes his right arm over the bottom rope in a last ditch effort to escape.  Vachon is irate!  He pulls the Bruiser to his feats and prepares to deliver a bodyslam.  Out of nowhere, Dick hooks Vachon in a small package and the referee counts THREE!  Against all odds, Dick the Bruiser has successfully defended the WWA title.  His friends enter the ring to congratulate Bruiser on his victory, but the concern in their eyes can't be hidden.  If Bruiser's shoulder isn't treated soon, he will not only lose his title, but possibly his career.

WINNER:  DICK THE BRUISER @28:10

I love the way that this shoulder of Bruiser is playing an on-going part in matches.

Nice win by Kwango and Cat. Nice research on the Brit.

Great win by Wrestling 2.

The Brothers three had a bad night. Hope to see them rebound.

Great win over the Cannon army. The General needs to re-group.

Loving the WWA action.

Very cool to see Kwango in the States! He's running near the tail end of his career here but still very impressive!

Glad to see the Von Brauner's getting over here. They recently left Montreal after losing the Tag Titles, so I know this team is double tough.

Wrestling II, what can I say? The man can beat anyone.

Can't believe Krupp pinned Mascaras, but I'm certainly not complaining.

Crazy WAR style 6-man tag as far as the pairings go. Very fun to read.

Here's to hoping the Bruiser's shoulder heals sooner rather than later. Good main event.
