9/27/77 Vancouver, British Columbia

Dennis Hall was pinned by Gene Ligon

Masa Fuchi pins Brazo de Oro

Cien Caras is pinned by Rocky Johnson

Chavo Guerrero vs Don Muraco.
another violent match between these two. blood is drawn by both men in no time...the mach ends when Muraco puts the dreaded thumb to the throat...Chavo fights it..Muraco picks him up and delivers a clothesline and gets the 1..2..3!!

NORTH AMERICAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: Jim Breaks-Marc Rocco vs SOUTHWEST TAG TEAM champions Rip Hawk-Swede Hansen.
these four rotten men finally go against each other. the fans are into it as they have never seen them in BC before...no rules are here..Hansen tags in to Hawk once Breaks is down. Hawk delivers a piledriver. Rocco makes the save as Hawk made the cover..tag to Swede..he comes in and gives Breaks a neckbreaker and follows with Swede covering Breaks as he gets the 1..2..3!!!!! we have NEW NORTH AMERICAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!!!!!
the crowd goes crazy, they hate all four but were cheering for Hawk-Hansen. the referee hands both the NA as well as the SWCW tag belts to both men as Rocco-Breaks wander away from the ring...now they have two major tag titles in the AWA. that should solidify Hawk-Hansen as the number one contenders in the AWA for the....

AWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: the Love Brothers vs. Black Gordman-Goliath.
after that last match, this one is a let down. the fans were wore out by now....
another real good bout. Reginald Love makes his best time with Gordman. he angers Gordman with his flashy moves and such. Hartford eventually holds Gordman in his own corner so he can be double teamed...Goliath makes the save but it's late. the match ends when Reginald has his feet on the ropes and gets the pinfall..
-------------------------------------------
9/28/77 Sandpoint, Idaho

Brazo de Oro is pinned by Dennis Hall

Gene Ligon goes  to a 20 minute draw with the returning, Black Cat.

Cien Caras fights Rocky Johnson to a good match. in the end, Rocky pins him...

NO DQ Match: Chavo Guerrero vs Don Muraco.
vilonet. blood, and fists....this match ends with Muraco pining Chavo after he beats him in the head with the microphone....

Non-Title Match:
new NORTH AMERICAN and current SOUTHWEST TAG TEAM champions,  Rip Hawk-Swede Hansen vs Black Gordman-Goliath.
the champs show their belts off...Goliath goes for Swede as Gordman has already taken out Hawk. this is a brawl. fist are everywhere. this bout goes almost 20 minutes when Hansen gives Goliath a piledriver. he tags to Hawk. Hawk then sets him up for a piledriver... BAM!!!! Swede comes in and makes the cover..1..2..3!!!!

AWA WORLD JR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: Roddy Piper vs Masa Fuchi.
this doesn't take long but it was a hard fought match. Piper has his usual pot shots at Fuchi. but in 18:49, Fuchi is pinned.

Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience!

good shows.
- Muraco and Chavo is one of the better blood feuds going today.
- Masa Fuchi has been impressive. He has the potential to become a major player in the AWA.
- Is NACW declaring war on their fellow AWA promoters? Vancouver should be PNW territory. Didn't Stampede run spot shows in Idaho?

I'm only about 45% sure that Stampede ran Idaho but I'm 100% sure that PNW ran joint cards w/ Kovacs (?) and then Tomko in Vancouver. For the most part they used the same talent base from the mid/late 70's through early '80's.

Boy, Hawk and Hanson are the top World Tag contenders by a long shot. A great job by them.

Nice to see Hall and Caras in action.

Piper and Fuchi would have been great to watch. Nice wins by Muraco and Johnson.

Love the way NACW is going.
