MAIN EVENT Georgia Heavyweight Championship Match ©Thunderbolt Patterson v/s Dick the Bruiser DTB dropped the WWA Heavyweight Championship to the big Austrian Otto Wanz last night. Tonight he’s come to the Deep South to try and take the Georgia Heavyweight Championship from Thunderbolt Patterson. DTB is beloved in the Midwest but he hears the boos here as he viciously assaults ‘Bolt before the match even begins. It quickly becomes obvious that DTB is favoring his shoulder but like a wounded animal that been pushed into a corner he fights to protect that injury with everything that he’s got. The match spills out of the ring and all around the arena. ‘Bolt can barely do anything to defend himself and it looks like DTB is going to walk out of Macon as the Georgia Heavyweight Champion. Finally in a desperate attempt to hold onto the title ‘Bolt grabs hold of the arm and delivers two hard headbutts to DTB’s shoulder. This seems to take the fight out of Afflis and plays a huge role in Patterson pinning DTB and retaining his title. Official Decision: Thunderbolt Patterson defeated Dick “the Bruiser” Afflis to retain the Georgia Heavyweight Championship. DTB appears to be unable to move his arm as he exits the ring and heads back to the dressing room.
