10/6/77 Ensenada, Baja CA    
 
the West Coast Avengers battle Los Brazos to a 20 minute draw
 
Hector Lamas is pinned by Jerry Estrada
 
John Tolos-Lord Alfred Hays-Terry Gordy lose to Sal Lothario-Jerry Brown-Michael Hayes
 
Los Guerreros vs Nick Bockwinkle-Don Muraco.
trouble here. Muraco-Bockwinkel do NOT act as a team. tempers are flared. their team work is sloppy as the Guerreros play with them. it doesn't take long before an argument starts between them. the Guerreros capitalize on this with a double drop kick to them followed by Armando applying a choke no Muraco. but the legal men are Chavo and Nick. Bockwinkle went head first into the turnpost. Chavo rolls him up for the 1..2..3!!
 
AWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: the Love Brothers vs  El Texano-Negro Navarro.          
the "hometown" boys get their chance now. the Loves take it to them as no one would expect. it takes only minutes for the Loves to defeat them. Hartford pins Texano for the win.

Terry Gordy is pinned by Sal Lothario  
 
John Tolos-Lord Alfred Hays pin Jerry Brown-Michael Hayes
 
el Texano, with Negro Navarro vs Don Muraco.
Muraco is booed here...Texano does his best to cheat but the referee catches him. minutes later, Navarro distracts the referee. Muraco thwarts that plan as he pounds on Texano. the referee turns around and see Muraco make the cover..1..2..3!!!  
 
AWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP:
the Love Brothers vs. Los Guerreros.
the most hated men in NACW are "heroes" here against these two. it takes no time for them to almost get pinned by the Guerreros. but it takes about 20 minutes for the tide to turn. Reginald Love tosses Armando through the ropes. Hartford punishes him on ther floor as Chavo jumps in. the referee gets Chavo out as Armando is pushed back into the ring. the damage was done though. Reginald delivers one more boot to the head and pins Armando.

The Love Brothers looking good against two top NACW teams.
 
THe Mexicans have their "heroes", I suppose.
 
Bock can't depend on Muraco and vice versa.
 
Nice building of Gordy-Hayes.
 
Great house shows for NACW south of the border.

Good stuff really enjoyed the Love Bros. v/s Los Guerreros. I just don't like seeing Chavo and Armando as heels here.
 
Is Sal Lothario a heel? It's odd to see him teaming with the Blondes
 
Tolos/Hays v/s Brown/Hayes it doesn't get much better than that.

nah, i've had lothario as a face since the beginning. in past months, he was a sometimes partner to the mid to lower level faces including michael hayes.
