We also have a great Commissioner's Corner with Commissioner Les Thatcher scheduled. With that said, let's go to the ring for our opening bout. MATCH #1 Mr. Ito w/Gen. Cannon vs Tony Hernandez Ito's TV debut is a successful one as the Asian puts down Hernandez with the Japanese sleeper. Jenkins: Fans, we'll be back with this week's "Commissioner's Corner." COMMERCIAL Okerlund runs down the list of upcoming WWA dates. 10/14 - Dayton, OH 10/16 - Columbus, OH 10/18 - Cincinnati, OH 10/21 - Indianapolis, IN 10/23 - South Bend, IN 10/25 - Terre Haute, IN Thatcher: Fans, welcome to another addition of "Commissioner's Corner." Today, we have some big news for you. First, Last Sunday, Dos Caras won the tournament to crown our first WWA Jr. Hwt. Champion. It was not easy for Caras as he was forced to face his own brother, El Sicodelico, in the finals. Caras now establishes himself as the top contender in the area for the AWA Jr. Hwt. Title currently held by Roddy Piper. We look forward to Dos Caras' title defenses and his challenge for the AWA Jr. Title. Speaking of Jr. Heavyweights, the WWA has signed a major Jr. Hwt. contender who will be here in late November. I am not at liberty to say who this person is, but he will change the face of Jr. Hwt. wrestling here in the WWA in particular and the AWA in general. Fans, you don't want to miss this man in action. On the heavyweight front. AWA World Champion defeated Antonio Inoki last Sunday in a very controversial match in Pittsburgh. The Champion used Gen. Cannon to double team Antonio. Bockwinkel has said that he will not wrestle Inoki again, but he is wrong! Because of the controversy, the WWA Board of Directors and AWA President Eddie Einhorn have scheduled a fourth match between these two men. However, this time there will be no interference. This is because the match will be held inside a ten foot high steel cage!!! There will be a winner in this match. The match will happen in Columbus, OH on Oct. 28th. There will also be a special referee for this match that will be named next week. Many fans have been asking about Dick the Bruiser's recovery from the arm injury. We have a message from the Bruiser that he sent to us from San Antonio. After the message, we will go directly to our next match. Until next week, so long from the "Commissioner's Corner." Bruiser: (Standing in front of the SWCW logo) Hello, fans. It's me, da Bruiser. Since I got nuttin' elce to do, I come down to Texas to see my good buddy, da Crusher. Man I miss dat guy. Anyway, I just wanted my fans to know dat my arm is feeling great. Da doctor says dat I should I should be fully recovered in a couple a weeks. Who knows, maybe sooner. Da point is, I will be back and I am lookin' for revenge. Cannon, line up your Army, 'cause I'm coming for 'em. See ya soon, Crybaby! MATCH #2 Geto Mongol vs Big Daddy Great TV match as the action goes back and forth. In the end, Geto pins Daddy following a driving headbutt to the back of the Brit's skull. During the match, Cannon, Gerhardt Kaiser, and a large figure hidden in the shadows watch Geto intently. COMMERCIAL Jenkins: Fans, I'd like to welcome to the announce position...Antonio Inoki...Antonio, you ran into some tough luck last Sunday. What do you have to say? Inoki: (through an interpreter) Mr. Jenkins, I shamed myself, my family, my country, and my fans last week. I should have been prepared for Bockwinkel's tricks, but I thought he was an honorable man. I was wrong. He used the rules that I requested to defeat me. I was a fool, but no more. Bockwinkel, I now know how low you will stoop. Next time, I will be prepared for anything. Thanks to the AWA and the WWA, I am being granted a rematch for the Title. This time in a steel cage. There will be no interference in this match and there must be a winner. I promise my fans that I will restore my honor. I will be the new AWA World Champion or I will never accept another title match as long as Bockwinkel has the belt. There will be no excuses, the best man will win. Thank you Mr. Jenkins. Jenkins: Thank you Mr. Inoki. Fans, lets go to the ring. MATCH #3 Wilhelm Ruska vs Carlos Rocha The Latin veteran looked to make this a contest, but he was over matched by the judo of the Olympic gold medalist. Ruska wins with an armbar submission as Cannon watches from ringside. Jenkins: Fans, we were going to talk to Wilhelm Ruska, but it seems that Gen. Cannon has his ear right now. We'll be back. COMMERCIAL Jenkins: Fans, let's welcome to the set our WWA Heavyweight Champion, Otto Wanz. Mr. Wanz, you sure have been a fighting champion. Wanz: Well, Mr. Jenkins. I want to be what you'd call a fighting champion. I am willing to take on any one at any time. Whether they wrestle here in the WWA or any where in the AWA. One day I would like to hold the AWA World Heavyweight Championship. The only way I can do that is to face and defeat all of the top stars in the AWA. I have the ability. I have the size. I have the intelligence to do this. It doesn't matter whether I wrestle a good guy or a bad guy, I want to be tested by the best. So, I am here with a large stack of open contracts. I have signed them and only need to have an opponent sign them. Gentlemen, I await your responses. Jenkins: Thanks, Champ! Fans our TV Title match is in the ring! MATCH #4 Killer Karl Krupp vs Joe Lightfoot The young Indian star really puts up a fight, but in the end, Krupp is just too powerful. Krupp successfully defends his title with the brain claw. Jenkins: When we return, Gene will interview Gen. George Cannon. COMMERCIAL Okerlund: My guests at this time is the King of controversy, Gen. George Cannon and his Army. Cannon: Very good, Okerlund, you actually said something intelligent. I am the major player in the WWA. My decisions determine the direction this company goes. I am building an Army unlike any group ever assembled by a manager in the history of professional wrestling. Just look at them. Pak Song, Jenji Shibuya, Kengo Kimura, Mr. Ito, and my newest acquisition..."The Great Dane," Wilhelm Ruska! Imagine the carnage the WWA will see when I unleash my judo juggernaut on those poor, unsuspecting twits who pander to the whims of the unwashed masses. I see broken bones and lots of gold in his future. Now, as for the Bruiser's comments earlier in the show. I laugh at his pitiful attempt at intimidation! He knows he is through. No man can come back from the injuries that my men inflicted on Bruiser. And if he is foolish enough to return, I will take great pleasure in having one of my elite athletes end his career, Finally, I must mention that Sudanese Scumbag, Abdullah The Butcher. That tub of lard had the audacity to attack his own partner, Pak Song, and myself last week. Well Butcher, payback is coming tomorrow in Dayton, OH. Pak Song has been directed to destroy you for your treason! You will feel the wrath of the Army tomorrow, fat man. Now, we must go to devise a plan for World domination. Okerlund: Cannon calling someone fat? I guess there are no mirrors in the barracks of the Army. Until next week fans...so long from WWA Championship Wrestling. CLOSING CREDITS
