NACW 10/18/77-10/19/77
Oct 17th, 2007, 6:52pm

10/18/77  el Centro, CA

the West Coast Avengers beat Los Brazos

Cien Caras loses to Miguel Perez

Genichiro Tenyru-Masa Fuchi, with Hiro Matsuda lose to Jerry Brown-Michael Hayes

Terry Gordy is pinned by Perro Aguayo

Los Guerreros vs Roddy Piper-Don Muraco.
Chavo goes after Muraco quick. they fight everywhere. Armando goes after Piper with the same conviction. he makes it known that he wants the AWA WORLD JR title. he gets Piper down after a trip, and just slaps him. Piper is irate but helpless as Armando has him tied up with the microphone cord.
Muraco is doing better with Chavo as he straddles over him, pounding him with numerous fists. he doesn't stop. the referee calls for the bell and gives the win to the Guerreros for DQ-ing Muraco with his fists...

AWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP:
the Love Brothers vs Billy Anderson-Cowboy Bob Yuma.
the Loves give them all they got before cheating. Hartford kicks Yuma when he's down and applies a camel clutch. Reginald puts a finger into the eye of Anderson. both fight back, but it's no good...Reginald eventually pins Yuma with two good suplexes to retain the titles
----------------------------------------------------
10/19/77 Tuscon, AZ

Gene Ligon-Dennis Hall defeat Los Brazos

Cien Caras is pinned by Perro Aguayo

Genichiro Tenyru-Masa Fuchi, with Hiro Matsuda
defeat Jerry Brown-Michael Hayes.
Matsuda interferes causing Hayes to be pinned by Tenyru

Terry Gordy fights Miguel Perez to a 20 minute draw

Los Guerreros vs Don Muraco-Cowboy Bob Yuma.
another good battle, but this time Armando pins Yuma after Chavo injures the Cowboy's back.

NORTH AMERICAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: Billy Anderson vs John Tolos.
a good matchup between two equally good opponents. both men fight hard and counter every move. but it takes a clotshesline and a cobra clutch for Anderson to beat Tolos.

Good shows.  Perro Aguayo looked especially strong.  Still good things with the blondes.  Guerreros/Muraco & Piper always good.  Anderson with a solid defense.

Nice to see Yuma and Anderson together against The Loves. Would have been a good bout.

The Matsuda-Hayes rivalry continues to impress.

Gordy and Perez with an entertaining draw.

Anderson with a big win over Tolos.

Great cards.
