Williston High School
Williston, FL
10/20/77

Opening Match, one fall, 20 minutes
Louisiana Assassin vs. Wolfman Smith

Smith takes the fight to the man from Louisiana. It is a knock-down, drag-out affair. Both men have their chances and Smith wins with a bodyslam and press.
Winner-Wolfman Smith (11:45)

Second Match, one fall 20 minutes
Coloso Colosetti vs. Jack Armstrong

Armstrong goes right after the man from Argentina. Colosetti is on his heels. He recovers and outwrestles Armstrong. He applies the Argentinean backbreaker and Armstrong submits.
Winner-Coloso Colosetti (14:29)

Third Match, one fall, 30 minutes
Kevin Sullivan vs. Nelson Royal

Royal does not have the Great Bolo with him tonight. That is good news for Sullivan. The first few minutes are a fantastic display of mat wresting. Royal is very skilled, but the younger Sullivan is equal to him tonight. Royal begins to get frustrated. He goes to the illegal tactics. He chokes Sullivan behind referee Frenchy Bernard’s back. Kevin is in trouble. He is able to turn the tide and gains a nearfall with a sunset flip. Royal kicks out and the match continues. Both men have their moments, but the time limit expires and the match is ruled a draw.
Result-Time Limit Draw (30:00)

Fourth Match, one fall, 60 minutes
Special Tag Team Match
The Australians w/Steve Rackman vs. Pat McGinnis and Ric Drasin

Rackman’s men are undefeated since arriving in Florida. Darsin has been teaming with Red Bastein, but Red is in the main event, so he has the young Irishman with him. Drasin looks good early. He uses his strength to control the action. Both Miller and O’Dea give him a try, but to no avail. They take to the floor to confer with Rackman. They return and try to use quick tags to out wit the youngsters. They trap McGinnis in the corner and work him over. Drasin tries to help, but he can’t. Miller rolls up Pat for the win. Rackman’s men continue to impress.
Winners-The Australians (23:18)

Main Event, one fall, 60 minutes
Red Bastein vs. Zeigfried Stanke w/Steve Rackman

Rackman’s other charge is in the main event against the veteran redhead. Rackman and Stanke argue with the ringsiders as they go to the ring. Bastein comes next and the Williston crowd goes crazy. Both men listen to instructions and the bell rings. Bastein wrestles and Stanke brawls. The early moments go back and forth. Stanke backs Bastein into the corner and drives a knee to the midsection. The German tries to whip Bastein into the opposite corner, but Red reverses it and Stanke hits the corner. Bastein scoops up Stanke and slams him to the mat. Red goes for the cover, but Zeigfried kicks out. The match continues and things go Bastein’s way. He traps the German in the sleeper, but Stanke gets to the ropes. Rackman is very worried at ringside. Bastein whips Stanke into the corner again, but this time, referee Frenchy Bernars gets in the way. The official goes down. Bastein checks on Bernard. This allows Rackman to slide a chair into the ring. Stanke picks it up and decks Bastein. Red goes down like a ton of bricks. Stanke covers him as Bernard struggles to his feet. Frenchy counts 1…2…3! Stanke earns a very tainted victory.
Winner-Zeigfried Stanke (20:18)

Great high school house show.

Stanke/ Bastein was a great match. That Rackman is as devious as they come.

The Auatralians continue to impress. They are close to a tag title shot

Great battle between Sullivan and Royal. Does a lot for Sullivan and Royal.

Nice to see Colosetti with a win.

Florida keeps rocking.

I would have loved to see this card at my local school.  Royal/Sullivan was the best match.  Good work.

Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience!
