Okerlund:  Well, Bob, We will hear from George "Two Ton" Harris and his new charge, Geto Mongol.  Also, we will have a pre-recorded interview with Dick the Bruiser.  The mysterious Union Jack will also grace us with his first interview.  Finally, we will have Antonio Inoki here to comment on his series of matches with AWA World Champion, Nick Bockwinkel.  And fans don't forget about "Commissioner's Corner" with WWA Commissioner Les Thatcher.  So, fans, get comfortable and get ready for the incredible action of WWA Championship Wrestling.  Our first match is in the ring...

MATCH #1

Mr. New Zealand  vs  Johnny DeFasio

The New Zealander makes an impressive debut as he stops Jumping Johnny with a sleeperhold.

Jenkins:  Fans, we'll have "Commissioner's Corner" following these messages from our sponsors.

Okerlund runs down the upcoming WWA shows in your area:

10/21:  Indianapolis, IN
10/23:  Bloomington, IN
10/25:  Dayton, OH
10/28:  Columbus, OH
10/30:  Erie, PA
11/1:    Buffalo, NY

Thatcher:  Fans, I am here with several hot issues for you, the fans, to consider.  First, The tempers of Abdullah The Butcher and Pak Song are heating up!  The one time tag team partners engaged in a brutal battle last Sunday and are scheduled to meet again tomorrow night.  There is a special stipulation for this match.  It will be a Korean stretcher match.  The rules are simple.  The match can only end when one man is loaded on a stretcher and hauled to the dressing room.  There will be no time limit, no disqualification, no count-out, and no stoppage because of blood.  The fans in Indianapolis should strongly consider leaving their children with relatives or a baby sitter as this match is sure to be a blood bath.
Also tomorrow, Don Muraco will be making his WWA singles debut.  You may remember him teaming with Rocky Johnson not too long ago in the WWA tag team tournament.  Muraco is a top contender for the AWA World Heavyweight Title held by Nick Bockwinkel.  It is an honor to have him here as his schedule is as busy as any wrestler's in the AWA.  Here are some previously recorded comments from Mr. Muraco.

A VTR airs with Muraco standing in front of the NAWA logo.

Muraco:  Indianapolis!  Home of the Pacers, the 500, the Hoosiers, and now the home away from home of the future AWA World Heavyweight Champion, Don Muraco.  That's right, I will be the next World Champion.  The only thing I need to secure the matches with Bockwinkel is some gold.  You see, I figure, if I win other titles in the AWA, Bockwinkel will have to give me my title shots.  And what better place to start than in the WWA.  Now, I know I can't just waltz right in here and demand a title shot at...who's the champ here....Oh, yeah, Wanz.  That is the reason I want to wrestle a top contender for the belt tomorrow in Indy.  The promoters tell me that man is Mil Mascaras.  Well, I got some history with Mil, but I'll admit he's a top contender for any title he wants.  It should be a good match and when I win, I'm gonna challenge Inoki Tuesday in Bloomington.  That way, when I return to the WWA, I'll have a righful claim for the WWA Title match.  So, Indiana, I'm coming.  Get ready to witness the future WWA & AWA Champion!

Thatcher:  Fans, as you can tell, Mr. Muraco is supremely confident in his abilities.  I just hope he's not overly confident or Mil or Inoki will be getting the title shots Muraco craves.

Speaking of Inoki and Bockwinkel, they will meet for the final time in Columbus, OH next Sunday, October 28.  This will be Antonio's fourth and final shot at the champion.  To insure that there will be no interference, this match will be held inside of a ten foot high steel cage.  There must be a winner.  Also, a special referee has been assigned for this bout.....Dick The Bruiser!  We will here from Mr. Inoki and Bruiser later in the show.
Getting back to tomorrow in Indianapolis, Geto Mongol will receive a shot at the WWA Heavyweight Championship.  This is due to the fact that he has pinned both Inoki and Mascaras recently.  Controversy not withstanding, the Board of Directors and I have determined that Geto deserves this honor.  We wish him the best of luck.
And finally, November and December are known for giving thanks and gifts.  Well, we at the WWA are going to thank our fans with a gift.  During Nov. & Dec. we will hold Dream Matches on television.  That's right, YOU make the matches.  Over the next two weeks, we will receive your nominations for Dream Matches.  These matches can involve any WWA wrestlers in any type of match!  And if you want us to bring in a wrestler from any other AWA promotion, we'll consider that, too.  So, be creative and have fun as you make the Dream Matches for the next two months.  Here's how to enter your nomination:
Send a stamped 3 x 5 post card with your Dream Match to:
WWA Dream Match
c/o WRTV
1330 North Meridian Street
Indianapolis, IN 46202

The winners will be drawn from random and the winner's name will be announcd on WWA Championship Wrestling.  All entries should be post marked by 11:59 central standard time on October 31!
Until next week, so long from "Commissioner's Corner."  We'll be back with Geto Mongol following these commercials.

Jenkins:  Fans, welcome back.  Our next match is in the ring...

MATCH #2

Geto Mongol w/George "Two Ton" Harris  vs  Joe Lightfoot

Geto pummels Lightfoot until Luis Martinez comes out and throws in the towel for his young partner.

Okerlund:  Ladies and Gentlemen, I introduce my guests at this time, Geto Mongol and his handler, George Harris...Hope we've got a wide angled lens on our cameras!

Harris:  MR. OKERLUND! Is that a crack on my weight?

Okerlund:  No, no.  It's just that I ate a rather big lunch today.

Okerlund winks at the camera.

Harris:  Very well then.  I am so proud of my man here, Geto Mongol!  He has been a very good student and my teachings have led to a WWA Title shot tomorrow in Indianapolis.  We are prepared for Mr. Otto Wanz and we will be successful.  There is not a doubt in my mind that next week, we will come out here with the Title belt in hand.  And when we do win, I will provide a feast of Mongolian delicacies that is fit for a king!  In fact, after we win, you can call this man King Geto.  Yes, that sounds good.  Geto, let's go and prepare!

Okerlund:  Isn't that just like Harris?  Looking for a reason to eat!  Fans, let's go to this pre-recorded interview with Dick the Bruiser.

Bruiser:  (Standing in front of the SWCW logo once again) Man, I'm I gettin' stronger. I been hangin' out with my buddy da Crusher and Jimmy Valient here in the Lone Star State.  I used ta tink Valient was a long-haired hippy punk, but I wuz wrong.  He's good people!  Anyway, I am coming back to the WWA.  It seems dat they need a referee for dee big cage match between Inoki and Bockwinkel and I'm just da man for da job!  I'll bring law and order to da match and make sure 'ol Nicky don't try nuttin' sneaky.  And after dat, I'll be gettin' back in da ring to win back what is rightfully mine...da WWA Title.  We'll see ya soon...Hey Crusher, Valient, wait up!

Okerlund:  Fans, we'll be back with Union Jack!

Jenkins:  Welcome back, fans.  Our next match is in the ring...

MATCH #3

Union Jack  vs  Bobby Bold Eagle

The Brit dismantles Bold Eagle in a matter of minutes, finishing him off with the London Bridge.

Okerlund:  Fans, I am joined at this time by Union Jack.  Jack, you have been impressive since joining the ranks of the WWA.  What are your goals?

Jack:  Well, Sunshine, my goals are unimportant.  I follow only the Queen's directions.  Her Majesty has given me a directive that I must complete to insure her good graces.  What that directive is, I can assure you, will be revealed as time goes by.  So, chap, relax and prepare yourself for Her Majesty's grand plan.  Good day, Sir.

Okerlund:  Who does this guy think he is?  James Bond?  Our Television Title Match is in the ring...

MATCH #4

Killer Karl Krupp vs  El Sicodelico

Krupp's toughest defense to date as the aerial specialist pushes Krupp to the limit.  Eventually, Krupp wins with the brain claw.

Jenkins:  Fans, we'll be right back with Antonio Inoki!

COMMERCIAL

Jenkins:  I am joined by Antonio Inoki.  Mr. Inoki, you will receive your last chance at Nick Bockwinkel's AWA World Title next week in Columbus.  What are your thoughts?

Inoki:  (Through an interpreter)  Yes, Mr. Jenkins, next week is my final challenge for the World Title.  The AWA has insured that there will be no outside interference and we will have a fair, tough, referee in Dick the Bruiser.  There will be no excuses for me not winning this match.  If I don't win, I don't deserve to granted another match.  But, Bockwinkel knows that I can defeat him and I will next week.  The great fans of the AWA will have  a champion they can be proud of.  I am very much looking forward to it.

Jenkins:  That's all the time we have this week. Until next week, so long from WWA Championship Wrestling!

Great TV Title match with Sicodelico and Krupp.

Martinez throwing in the towel for Lightfoot? Interesting! Geto continues to impress. Wide angle lens? Hilarious.

The Commish's Corner continues to impress me with the little things. The address of the TV station flashing across the screen was so 70's. I loved it.

Union Jack refers to Sunshine. I thought that was just William Regal's punch line. Must be a Brit phrase.

Great show.

Yeah, I like Regal's use of it.  That's why I used it.  Just a little time frame theft.
