 The former World Champion is getting up there in age, but he still has what it takes. O'Hannon is a young man who has had some success in other promotions, and he really tries to pull out the upset, but old age and treachery win the day and Stasiak gets his hand raised in victory after a Heart Punch.
 
Vince “Stasiak is the master of the dreaded Heart Punch, a move banned in 25 states and all over Europe, nevertheless, here in the World Wide Wrestling Federation it is perfectly legal. Be that as it may, up next, in that very ring, Tony Garea and “Irish” Pat Barrett will be in action, one week after scoring a non title victory over the WWWF Tag Team Champions.

TONY GAREA & “IRISH” PAT BARRETT VS. DR. RED FANG & BULL POMPETTI
 
 Garea and Barrett may have gotten a win over the WWWF Tag Team Champions last week, but can they survive against the dangerous medical madman DR. RED FANG?!?!?!?!  But by the grace of God our heroes survive their battle with the dubious doctor and Barrett is able to get the win for his team with a Sunset Flip on Pompetti.
 
Vince then is joined by WWWF Champion Superstar Graham and his best friend “High Chief” Peter Maivia. Vince mentions how Graham has been and will be meeting many challengers for his title, they include Pat Patterson, former Champion Stan Stasiak, Moondog Mayne, Spiros Arion, Geogre Steele and former NWA World Champion Terry Funk. Graham says he is a fighting Champion and he will face anyone, ANYONE, who thinks that can conquer the 22 inch pythons. Suddenly Fred Blassie  appears!!! Blassie runs down both Graham and Maivia and then lays out a challenge to meet Nikolai in the ring, Blassie says Volkoff has an open contract for a match here on Championship Wrestling. Blassie was addressing Graham, but Maivia immediately speaks up and accepts the match. Maivia calls Nikolai a bully and says he will take him down once and for all. Blassie says Maivia needs to back off,  he wasn;t talking to him. Blassie then starts to insult Maivia and the “High Chief” decks him!!! Blassie goes down hard!!! Nikolai and Arion rush out to help their manager. Graham and Maivia are ready for the fight, but nothing comes of it. Arion says that Maivia will pay for what he has done. Nikolai just stares at Maivia. Vince quickly sends us to a commercial break before all hell breaks loose.

 Vince is joined at ringside by Jesse Ventura. When he tries to call him The Body, Jesse stops him and tells him that he is now Jesse “THE MIND” Ventura. Ventura says he has traveled the globe as a World Champion, and that Harley Race and Ted Dibiase stole the NWA World Tag Titles from he and Patera and they will soon get them back. But, Ventura has returned to the WWWF in the meantime to tie up a loose end, namely Chiceknhawk Jay Strongbow. Ventura runs Strongbow down and says he has has heard Strongbow's vow, and Ventura has a vow of his own to make, he vows that Strongbow will soon be back on the reservation getting drunk on that fire water like the rest of those no good Indians.

 The fire is evident in Strongbow's eyes, he heard every single word Ventura said and he is not happy about it at all. Strongbow takes it all out on Dougherty tearing him apart before pinning him after a Big Chop.
 
Vince McMahon:  One Chief Jay Strongbow, a great wrestler and a fine man, is on the warpath so to speak, and he is looking for Jesse “The Mind” Ventura. Fans, if you get the chance to see these two men clash, do so, because  I feel that sooner or later one of them will run the other out of professional wrestling.

I'd like to go to Poughkeepsie to see Maivia/Strongbow against the Valiants. Maybe I could even pick up a liberal hippy chick from Vassar while I'm at it. For me, Chris's work brings back fond memories. I was a big fan of the WWWF at this time and he has captured the feel to perfection.
