The opening plays, showing several Stampede stars of past and present, in action in short clips.
We then join Ed Whalen sitting at the announcer's table at ringside.
Whalen: "Hello again everyone, and welcome to Stampede Wrestling. I'm Ed Whalen and do we have a show lined up for you today! Don Carson will make his television debut right here today, as he faces Steven Wright. North American Champion Keith Franks will be in singles action today, he'll face the masked Red Demon #1. Another masked man will make his debut on this show, the Wrestling Pro, a legend down in the Southeastern U.S. has come to Calgary, and he will take on rookie Ed Golden. And, as always, we've got a big feature bout lined up. Bret Hart is looking to avenge what happened to his brother Bruce on last week's show, he'll go one on one with Ray Osborne."
Before the first match starts, Whalen notices that the masked man from last week is here once again, sitting in the same spot in the front row. The man is decked out in a suit and tie, with a white mask on, black trim around the eyes and mouth.
Whalen: "Fans, I'm not sure who this masked man is, but this is the second week he's been here, and he seems to be particularly interested in the North American Champion, Keith Franks. Hopefully at some point during this broadcast we can find out who he is and why he's here. But right now, we're ready for our first match, so let's go to the ring."
MATCH #1 - 1 fall, 10 minute time limit:
Don Carson defeats
Steven Wright at 6:31.
Wright’s quickness gives Don Carson some problems in his TV debut, but in the end, Carson takes control of the match, and works over Wright’s shoulder before locking on a Chickenwing hold, leading to the submission.

After the break, Ed Whalen joins Don Carson in the ring.
Whalen: "I'm joined at this time by Don Carson. Don, you've been very impressive since coming to Stampede, you were victorious in a tough match with Bret Hart last night in Calgary, and just now, a win over Steven Wright."
Carson: "You're right, Ed, those victories were impressive, that's because I'm an impressive individual, Whalen. I fact, you could say that I am the GREATEST wrestler to ever step foot in a Stampede wrestling ring!"
Whalen: "Well, Don, I'm not sure I'd go that far."
Carson: "You don't believe me, Whalen? Well I'll prove it to you. As of this moment, I am issuing a challenge, I call it the $1,000 Challenge. If any wrester can pin me or make me submit in under 30 minutes, I will personally give that wrestler $1,000!"
Whalen: "WOW! That's quite a challenge. Well Don, you're obviously very confident in your abilities, and I'm sure that you'll have plenty of wrestlers lining up to take you up on that challenge."
Carson: "I have every reason to be confident in my abilities, Whalen. You've seen me in action, you've seen first-hand how great I truly am! I know for a FACT that there isn't a wrestler in this territory that can beat me, let alone beat me in under 30 minutes."
Whalen: "We'll be back with more Stampede Wrestling right after these messages."

Whalen: "We're back on Stampede Wrestling, and ready for our next match, as North American Champion Keith Franks faces Red Demon #1 in a non-title match."
MATCH #2 - 1 fall, 10 minute time limit:
Keith Franks defeats
Red Demon #1 by DQ at 4:05.
The North American Heavyweight Champion doesn’t have much trouble with the Red Demon…until the masked man sitting in the front row walks over to ringside, and picks up Franks’ title belt! This gets Keith’s attention, he goes over to the ropes and tells the man to put the belt down, the man holds the belt around his waist, and smiles. Franks sticks his head through the ropes, but that proves to be a big mistake, the man blasts Keith right in the head with the belt, knocking him backwards into the ring, leaving him lying flat on his back. The referee calls for the bell and awards Franks the match by DQ.
With Franks flat on his back on the mat, the masked man walks out of the studio.
After the match, Whalen climbs into the ring and joins Franks, who’s on his feet, but still groggy.
Whalen: "Fans, we still don't know the identity of this masked man, but I was able to find out that he does purchase a ticket every week, and up until now, he was nothing more than a spectator, but as we just saw, he interjected himself this week, hitting this man, Keith Franks, in the head with Keith's own North American Title belt."
Franks: "Ed, I don't know who this man is, or why he did what he did, but I will tell you one thing, I want to get this man in the ring, so we can settle this."
Whalen: "It appears that he has left the studio, but hopefully we can get a response from him soon, regarding that challenge. Fans, we'll be right back with more Stampede Wrestling right after this quick commercial break."

MATCH #3 - 1 fall, 10 minute time limit:
The Wrestling Pro defeats
Ed Golden at 6:12.
Another masked man makes his debut on this show, the Wrestling Pro, who is best known in the Southeastern U.S. and is a multiple-time Gulf Coast Champion and tag team Champion. He starts off by shaking Golden’s hand, then wrestles a purely scientific contest. The Pro gets a little rougher when Golden goes on the offensive, but for the most part, the Pro follows the rules. In the end, Golden goes for a running clothesline, but the Wrestling Pro ducks it, then grabs Golden around the waist and hits him with a picture-perfect belly to back suplex. Pro covers the rookie for the pinfall victory.
Whalen: "A victorious debut for the Wrestling Pro, and his opponent, Ed Golden, it seems improves each and every time he's in the ring. We've got to take a quick commercial break, but when we come back, I'll talk with Big Bad John and his Army."

After the break, Whalen is in the ring with Big Bad John, Don Leo Jonathan and Kasavubu.
Whalen: "Big Bad John, you've built quite a stable in a very short time here in Stampede Wrestling, but so far, it looks like Jake Roberts and Keith Franks have been able to get the better of you and your men."
John gives Whalen a dirty look.
Whalen: "Whalen, if you think that I'm going to let a couple of losers like Franks and Roberts keep me from my goal, well then you're even dumber than you look! Yes, I'll admit there have been some minor setbacks, but things are about to turn around, starting on Friday night in Calgary, when Don Leo Jonathan takes the North American Title from Keith Franks."
Jonathan: "That's right. Franks, the contracts have been signed, it's only a matter of time now, until I become the North American Champion! These fans all saw it, last night in Calgary, i pinned you in that tag team match, and I'm going to pin you again on Friday night, and I will leave the Victoria Pavilion as the new North American Champion!"
Whalen: "That will be a great match, no doubt about it. Right now, however, it's time for our feature bout. Bret Hart is looking to avenge the injury that his brother Bruce suffered last week at the hands of Ray Osborne. Let's go to the ring."
MATCH #4 - 1 fall, 10 minute time limit:
Bret Hart defeats
Ray Osborne by DQ at 7:30.
Ray gives the youngster a beating early on, and gets several nearfalls, but Bret always seems to kick out somehow. Osborne gets frustrated, and makes a mistake when he misses a kneedrop. This gives Hart a chance to recover. Osborne obviously hurt his knee when he missed the kneedrop, and Hart immediately goes to work on that knee. After a few minutes, Hart locks on a leglock, but Bud Osborne hits the ring! The referee immediately calls for the bell, disqualifying Ray Osborne for outside interference.
The Osborne brothers give Bret a beating, but Bret’s brothers, Bruce and Keith, quickly hit the ring and make the save.

After the break, Whalen is in the ring with Bruce, Keith and Bret Hart.
Whalen: "Bruce, you look to be about ready to get back in the ring after suffering that concussion last week at the hands of Ray Osborne."
Bruce Hart: "That's right Ed, Ray Osborne really did a number on me last week, but by next Friday, I'll be back to 100%. Osborne brothers, if you two have got the guts, find yourself another partner, and meet the three of us in the ring on Friday night!"
Whalen: "How about that, fans? Bruce Hart issuing a challenge to Bud and Ray Osborne to find another tag team partner and meet the three Hart brothers in a six man tag team match on Friday night! We're out of time for this week, on next week's show, we'll see Gerry Morrow, Don Carson and the masked Wrestling Pro in singles action. As well, our feature match will see a tag team match between Bruce and Keith Hart and Bud and Ray Osborne, although the International Tag Team Titles won't be on the line. All that and much, much more, right here next week. In the mean-time, and in between time, that's it for another edition of Stampede Wrestling. Bye Now."
