Why does TNA have "Best of" DVDs ?
Nov 3rd, 2007, 11:26pm

Why does TNA have "Best of" DVDs when most of the guys in TNA either havent been wrestling long enough to have a "Best of " DVD or haven't been in TNA long enough to have a "Best of" DVD

I start better topics than alot of the people on here. If you don't have anything nice to say then SHUT UP!

This posting about Why TNA has "Best of" DVDs is alot better than most of your postings such as "Why doesnt ECW have a forum" topic that you posted not too long ago.

Plus, a wrestling company should only make a "Best of" DVD when the wrestler has had a long career with them.

Christian Cage is getting a "Best of" TNA DVD and he has only been with TNA for 2 years.

At least WWE gives those types of DVDs to guys who have been wrestling since the 70's, 80's, or early 90's. Like Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair.

TNA has every right to release Best Of Dvds and if you don't like it then don't watch them.

TNA could do what ever they want. If they think a "Best Of" DVD will make them money then thats fine. But in my opinion  they shouldnt be realeasing DVDs of guys that have only been with with them for 2 or 3 years. A "Best Of" DVD should be given to wrestlers that have been in the business for a long time and have had several memorable matches through out the years.

But, I also think TNA should wait until they have been around for 10 or more years and then start releasing DVD of wrestlers who have been with them for a majority of those years.

TNA releasing "Best of" DVDs is just like a music artist putting out a "Best of" or "Greatest Hits' CD after 5 years or so. It's all about marketability and making money. But I see where Johnny is coming from here. It does seem a little early to put a "Best of" somebody out when they've only been with the company for 2 years.

Maybe they should've come up with a slightly different name for it and, thus, avoided a "Best of" label.

I agree really. Like they put out a Christian Cage DVD or Sting DVD. The majority of their career was with WWE (Cage) and WCW (Sting). WWE owns all that footage.
