Opening Match, one fall, 20 minutes
Beauregard vs. Jimmy Garvin w/Great Bolo

Beauregard tries to use his strength advantage, but Garvin out-wrestles him and wins with a suplex.
Winner-Jimmy Garvin (11:25)

Second Match, one fall, 20 minutes
Alexis Smirnoff vs. Juan Sebastian

This match is all Smirnoff. He pounds Sebastian from pillar to post. He pulls Sebastian up twice and finally finishes him with a Russian neckbreaker.
Winner-Alexis Smirnoff (13:23)

Third Match, one fall, 20 minutes
Wolfman Smith vs. Ray Stevens

Stevens has been very impressive since arriving in Florida. He is sharp tonight. Smith uses his usual roughhouse tactics, but Stevens is ready for that. He works over the Wolfman and wins with the piledriver.
Winner-Ray Stevens (13:08)

Fourth Match, one fall, 30 minutes
Pat McGinnis vs. Pat Patterson

The arrogant Patterson comes to the ring with his beautiful ring jacket. “California Oranges are Better” is emblazoned on the back. McGinnis is very good, but will he have enough to combat the veteran from California? McGinnis uses all his European skill to battle the veteran. Patterson is methodical and uses all the tricks in his bag. McGinnis can't handle that and Patterson clamps on the sleeper. McGinnis fights, but he's out. Patterson struts around the ring and the crowd boos.
Winner-Pat Patterson (14:46)

Fifth Match, one fall, 30 minutes
Jerry Brisco vs. Coloso Colosetti

This should be a very scientific match. Both men shakes hands before the bell. They lock up and begin to exchange holds. The Argentine holds his own with Brisco. Jerry picks up the pace and uses a quick fireman's carry to take Colosetti over. Brisco goes for a cover, but Coloso kicks out. Colosetti gives it a good try, but Jerry catches him in the figure four and wins the match.
Winner-Jerry Brisco (17:46)

Semi-Final, one fall, 60 minutes
Six-Man Tag Team Match
The Australians and Zeigfreid Stanke w/Steve Rackman vs. Kevin Sullivan, Ric Drasin and Red Bastein

This will be a wild one. Rackman's men have run roughshod over the competition, but Sullivan, Bastein and Drasin will be a stiff test. Stanke and Sullivan begin the action. The big German looks very good. Sullivan counters with some very good scientific skills. Kevin tags in Drasin and the muscular youngster takes over. He slams Stanke and Zeigfreid wants none of this and tags in Larry O'Dea. O'Dea whips Drasin into the ropes and backdrops him. Larry goes for the cover, but Drasin kicks out. He tags in Bastein and the veteran from Texas goes to work. Rackman's men have not been in this type of trouble since arriving in Florida. Ronnie Miller tags in and he has a little more luck. The match goes back and forth and Stanke and Sullivan end up back in the ring. Sullivan clamps on the sleeper. The Australians distract referee Stu Swartz. Rackman climbs up on the ring apron with a chair. He tries to hit Sullivan, but Kevin ducks and Rackman decks Stanke. Sullivan covers him as Swartz turns around and counts the fall. For once, Rackman's plan fails.
Winners-Kevin Sullivan, Ric Drasin and Red Bastein (22:58)

Main Event, one fall, 60 minutes
Southern Championship
The Spoiler (Champion) w/Sir Oliver Humperdink vs. Eddie Graham

This what the people came to see. The masked man has held the belt since defeating Austin Idol in Tampa. Eddie Graham has been hot on his trail, and the veteran has come within inches of winning the title. The bell rings and the Champion goes to work. The Spoiler seems to want to end things early. He backs Graham in the corner and begins to choke him. Referee Stu Swartz counts, but Spoiler breaks at four each time. Things look bad for Eddie. Graham regroups and goes to work. He fires off right and lefts. Eddie Graham has the hardest punch in wrestling and the Spoiler is finding out first hand. Eddie whips the Spoiler into the corner and hiptosses him to the mat. He goes for the figure four, but the Spoiler gets to the ropes. He takes to the floor to confer with Humperdink, but Graham follows him. They begin to brawl on the floor. It's a real knock-down-drag-out affair. Swartz is counting. Instinctively, Graham slides back in the ring. He beats the Spoiler by a second. Swartz's count reaches 20 and he calls for the bell. Graham has won by count out, but the Spoiler retains the Southern Title.
Winner-Eddie Graham (19:19) Count Out

Garvin and Bolo with a nice win in the opener.

Patterson and Stevens looking promising here in Florida.

The Brisco-Colosetti match was a technical marvel, I'm sure.

The six man went different than I thought it would. Nice win for Drasin, Bastein, and Sullivan.

Nice showing for Graham. The Spoiler still rules, though.

Great card.

Another great show! Spoiler vs. Graham would have been something to see! Stevens continues to roll and the six-man action was great!
