I heard few days ago on update on the tickets sales
for TNA Against All Odds Debut at Greenville,SC at BiLo Center it's not looking good
so far they sold in advance tickets about 800 seats that is pretty sad
TNA should move this event to Charlotte my choice and have it at Cricket Arena

WWE didn't even draw that well either, back in November. I don't know if this is accurate but I heard the WWE House show only drew around 1500 people. That is sad. Greenville, SC has a great wrestling tradition but there is no local tv outlet here to promothese shows. If WWE or TNA is serious about their house shows, they should have a weekly tv show to help build up matches for house shows. It looks like both promotions do well overseas and in Canada as well as occassionally in large markets. WWE has drawn good crowds when they have live RAW broadcasts or Smackdown tapings.

I live in the Greenville metro area and would love to see wrestling become big in this area again but having shows every 3-6 months will not draw the fans out.

IT IS A SAD DEAL....I REMEMBER THE DAYS OF EVERY MONDAY NIGHT...I LIVE IN GA. AND I WOULD WORK ALL DAY AND COULDN'T WAIT TO DRIVE THAT HOUR DRIVE EVERY WEEK TO SEE WRESTLING...ALSO IF THEY ARE GOING TO TRY SMALLER VENUES, I THINK ANDERSON CIVIC CENTER NEEDS TO BE USED,OR POSSIBLY THE NEW REC. CENTER, I HAVEN'T SEEN THE INSIDE OF IT, IT MAY NOT EVEN BE SET UP FOR WRESTLING, BUT I KNOW THE CIVIC CENTER IS AND IS RARELY USED, AND WCW USED TO SELL IT OUT OFTEN, THAT IS UNTIL THEY GOT TO ADVERTISING STARS THAT NEVER APPEARED!!!

Yes, Anderson Civic Center or Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium would have been a better venue for TNA's first foray into this area.
Bi-Lo Center is too big for a relatively new promotion to try and fill up.

The price of the show put me off. $150.00 for ring side. They are only going to use 1/2 of the Bi-Lo center. I look for it to be called off or the price to be cut in 1/2 soon.

Has anyone located any free tickets to the PPV? I've been trying to get in touch with most of the radio stations in the area, but no luck so far.

I lucked out one time on ticketmaster.com and stumbled across free tickets for a smackdown taping at the bi-lo center about 2 years ago.  They were free and only had to pay tax or surcharge or something.  Decent seats, I'd say mid tier(for free I really couldn't gripe anyways). I'd imagine there will be many many freebies to try to even fill it up half-way...Check a few days before that Sunday. Bi-lo center is rather big, especially for a first attempt at a PPV draw.

I was at the Bi-Lo Center on 2/3. I asked about the ticket for the event and they have alot left. I could have got just about any seat that I ask about.

Damn.  The BiLo Center is a 15,000 seat venue.  That does not even count floor seating that would be used for boxing/wrestling.  Interesting to see what TNA will do when they do not even sell maybe 1/10 of the seats.

From what I've heard, they are papering like crazy to fill the place up.  I've e-mailed the bi-lo center to see about scoring some freebies, but no luck so far.  Might just drive there tomorrow and try my luck.

Is anyone here actually going to the show?  I contacted the Bi-lo center about comps and the woman claimed the deal for them expired on Friday.  That's crap, because I was on the TM site at least once a day.  Oh well.  Guess they'll be in a smaller venue next time....if there is a next time....

gerweck.net reports:

- As of this writing TNA has sold just under 1,600 tickets for tonight's Against All Odds PPV in Grenville, SC. TNA is blocking off more than half of the arena and setting the place up to hold between 2,500-3,000 people. Also in order to move tickets TNA has instituted a buy two tickets get one free sale a the box office. They are also giving out free tickets to various businesses in the area. No matter how you slice it tonight's event looks to be a money losing situation for TNA. This is not suprising though. Not only has TNA promoted the show very poorly on a local level but WWE ran a show last fall in the same arena and only drew 1,000 people. TNA should have noticed this and booked the event for somewhere else.
