STORMFORCE WRESTLING FRIDAY FEB 8 RESULTS
Feb 10th, 2008, 2:59pm

An outstanding night of live wrestling action rocked the Clayton Fitness Center in Clayton, NC Friday Feb 8. The crowd saw some of the finest professional wrestling athletes from across three states burn down the house and leaving the fans wanting more.

In a wild fast paced opener, Sean Denny  took on Rex Sterling. This was a see-saw match with both guys laying into each other at a frightful pace. In the end it was the European fan favorite getting the win over a very tough Sterling.

Daren Stone, leader of Violence from Virginia, came out with Damien Wayne and Mike Booth for the GemStone. The three ranted and raved for several minutes before introducing their guest, Joey Silvia. Silvia, along with the Virginians, mocked the fans in Clayton and his opponent, the popular Justin Flash saying how no one could beat in ten minutes. Justin slowly walked to ring as an unaware Joey Silvia believed the cheers were for him and the Virginians. Justin clears the ring of the Virginians and takes Silvia down with a crossface and Joey taps out and Justin released the hold.  The fans chanted "You tapped out!!!" as an enraged Joey Silvia grabbed his belt and went back to the dressing room. The Virginians stunned by quickness of it all, were only able to complain.

Mike Booth vs Jeff Early. The VFV stayed out  for Booth's match against young Jeff Early. Booth manhandled Jeff, with the help of Wayne and Stone through out the match sometimes making it a three on one situation. Early fired back at one point with a array of moves and a beautiful dropkick but to know avail. With a lot of outside interference Booth pinned Early with a devastating clothesline.

For the StormForce Wrestling North Carolina Championship:
Corey Edsel (c) vs Ace Montana. Edsel has been on a roll of late, but the popular Ace Montana vowed to stop him. Neither man gave any ground in this brutal battle of the big men. At one point, Montana nailed Edsel with a huge elbowsmash and flying tackle while Edsel wowed the crowd with an impressive  flying dropkick. Brad Stutts, Edsel's manager, nailed Montana with the belt and Corey was able to get the win.

Following intermission, StormForce Atlantic States Champion KC McKnight came out and thanked the fans their support and coming to Clayton for the show. Then McKnight turned his attention to Damien Wayne and the Virginians. McKnight, unimpressed by Wayne and "his thugs" actions tonight says it's time to put an end to it and tonight is the night.

For The Tar Heel State Challenge Title:
(c) Joey Silvia vs Justin Flash. While Joey and Justin were in the ring jawing at each other. Someone else's music played and out came... The Kamikaze Kid. Kazey had words for both Joey and Justin then interjected himself into the match. So it became a three-way match with a special 10minute time limit. This match spilled out all over the building with bodies flying everywhere. Kazey hit a flying bodypress on a prone Silvia and went for the pin, Justin then flies from the turnbuckles with a diving headbutt on on Kazey. Silvia was able to come back however and after disposing of Kazey, the champ hit Flash with two low blows and snared him a hookedleg suplex to get the win. Kazey looked as if he was going to congratulate Justin on the match but attacked him instead. Justin countered with a stunner from the turnbuckles leaving Kazey laying.

For the CWA StormForce United States Tag Team Titles:
TJ and Kirby Mack vs. Charlie Dreamer and Louis Moore. Originally Scott Saber, Charlie Dreamer’s tag partner in the PortCity Blondes was scheduled to be in the match but due to circumstances, he wasn’t able to make it, so Clayton’s own Louis Moore filled in. The match started with some fun from the Mack Brothers as they clowned around abit with the fans and with Moore and Dreamer. Soon enough the furious action began as both teams went back and forth. The Macks had the advantage in teamwork over Dreamer and Moore early on but being that both Louis and Charlie had been apart of successful tag teams before… the advantage didn’t last long. The fans chanted for both teams throughout the match. Chaos followed as the Macks hit death from above on Louis Moore taking him out of the game. Dreamer leveled Kirby with a kneelift. As Dreamer and TJ Mack were battling it out, Joey Silvia interfered tripping up TJ setting him up perfectly for a superkick from Dreamer who won the match and the belts for his team. Kirby and TJ Mack challenged Silvia and a partner of his choosing to a match Friday night March 14th in Knightdale.

For the StormForce Atlantic States Heavyweight Title:
KC McKnight ( c ) vs Damien Wayne with Mike Booth and Daren Stone. These two battled back and forth sometimes wrestling, sometimes brawling. Wayne leveled the champ with a series of high impact moves including a high vertical suplex that seemingly lasted forever. KC countered by reversing a piledriver and leveling Wayne with a powerslam. Then KC tried for his superplex only to be knocked off the turnbuckles by Wayne and then smashed by a flying elbow. Late in the match, KC finally nails Wayne with his superplex. Damien Wayne was able to come back and as was holding KC for his manager to punch him. KC ducked and Stone nailed Damien, distracting him long enough for McKnight to get the victory and retain his title. Afterwards Damien, Booth and Stone attacked KC. As the three were getting the best of him, Louis Moore and Charlie Dreamer came to the ring to even the score. Wayne and company then left the ring and challenged McKnight, Moore, and Dreamer to a six man tag…with the stipulation that if they win he gets another title shot. KC accepted and stated if Wayne gets his title shot and KC beats him again… he wants Wayne’s manager Daren Stone.

Next show Friday March 14th in Knightdale, NC at the Knightdale Rec Center.

This was a great show! I only wish that more folks would come out and support indy wrestling. It is a great alternative to WWE when you can find the right promotion. Carl's shows are always good... me and the family are looking foward to the next StormForce show March 14 in Knightdale.
