Hi.  I went to the one yesterday.  It was pretty fun.  It was the first time I'd been to one of those shows, and I felt really silly being there at first (I'm in my twenties and the first thing I see is a booth selling action figures and a bunch of kids in lucha masks pretending to wrestle), but after a while I was enjoying myself.  From what I could tell, the only person who didn't show up was Jimmy Hart.  He did presign a bunch of photos though, so you could still get all the Hart Foundation's signatures on one photo.  I never saw Greg Valentine either, but I got there late so I just figured he left before I got there.  I got Bret Hart and Christy Hemme's signatures, and they were both nice to me.   I also got a Bobby Heenan autographed 8x10, and he's always been my favorite wrestler so that was cool.  My friend said when he was in the bathroom, some guy started to talking to him, and he was like "I hate when people try to chat whiling taking a piss," and when he turned to look who it was, it was Rob Van Dam, so that was kind of funny. I wasn't able to attend the matches but here's what they were supposed to be:

 Gail Kim -vs- Traci Brooks
Kaz -vs- Chris Masters
Jason Styles -vs- Ugene
Honky Tonk Man/Greg Valentine -vs- L'Empereur/Dash Riprock
Jim Neidhart -vs- Shannon Ballard
Chico Navarro/Ryan Von Kool -vs- Shane Ballard/Wild Storm -vs- Shoot2Thrill

Besides Valentine, I think all the vendor guests showed up.  All the ones you mentioned plus Tito Santana and Steve Williams.  Also, there was the Patriot signing autographs, but my friend and I would joke saying how do we know it's not just some dude with a Patriot mask?  And he was charging $10 to get a picture with him and $10 to buy a replica mask, and we were just like, I'll buy the mask and take the picture with someone else wearing the mask and no one would know.  There was also another female wrestler signing autographs, but I had no idea who she was.  She was older than all the TNA knockouts (she was probably in her thirties I'm guessing) and had long black hair.  They didn't have a sign advertising her and I didn't see many people get her signature, so a lot of people probably didn't know who she was.

Do you know if they have these things in Northern California often?  The only other one I heard of was that Cow Palace disaster a few months back.

Hello fellow Wrestling Marks.. Cheesy

My name is Gabe and I am from Oakland Cali.

I go to alot of indys out here and went to the BTW fan fest.

I read what that guy posted befor me about being in his 20s and feeling strange there. I am 23 and didnt feel that way. Right when I walked in my face started to glow. The time of my life I did have as I spent all my money I saved for pictures with wrestling stars  on wrestling DVD's. I picked up such titles like The best of Bruiser Brody, the IWGP title match with Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle, and Best of Jack Evans.

Me and my homie both Marked out to as many wrestlers as possible. The event was put together way better the infamous Wrestle fan fest which was in SF a few months back that bombed. The tickets to meet and get pictures were decent for mid carders but the main events were like $25 and up. The Heart Foundation were not even with the rest of the wrestlers. The line for them started out side a room where they sat waiting for fans. I didn't even see if they were even really there or not..lame.

But that was the only Lame part. I have been to things like this befor and I give it 9 out of 10.

We need more things like this in the Bay Area. All the local feds were there and had venders. I had to work that night and miss the wrestling card. I wish I would have just called in. But I need money for more wrestling DVDs  and try to make it to the NWA Legends Fanfest.. lol.. Sorry for the rant
