well i worked a show with mike sanders a couple of years ago on the indy circuit in northeast georgia,but haven't heard anything from him since....he said that night when i basically asked the same question,that he was doing alot of stand up comedy in atlanta almost full time and making good money,that he was taking a few wrestling dates but not many,but someone else probably has a more recent update on him and the others you ask about.

Sanders is still in Georgia doing the comedy bit the last i heard. He has a myspace page.
 
Van Hammer was living in Maryland but this was 5 years ago. I assume he is still near Baltimore possibly bouncing at clubs or something.
 
Lash Leroux is still down in Louisianna I think. Last time I seen him, he had put on quite a few pounds. He was one hell of a talent that Vince should have kept.
 
As for others, I did not watch too much in thier dying days so I can not remember who was all there that got cut.

Lash still draws cartoons in some of the PWI magazines.

At one time I read that Van Hammer was living around the Atlanta area. Seems like his family ran an adult novelty store or something like that. It was in the news that they were having a lot of protests against it. Hammer himself was quoted in the Atlanta paper giving his rebuttal. This was quite a while back so a lot of this is coming straight from memory.
 
By the way, on Jim Ross' website Q&A someone asked if Hammer was going to ever be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame....Jim doesn't seem to think that will happen anytime in this lifetime

And who would have asked that question if Van Hammer would be inducted in the WWE HOF? That had to have been a joke of some sort
