Last I heard, which was last summer, Ron West was working for one of the travelling circuses/amusement companies. No, not Ringling Brothers, but one of the companies that do state and county fairs. Bill Apter would have more info.

Ron is still with Cole Brothers circus. Not long ago, he was in Anderson, SC and had lunch with Ole Anderson.  Here's an article on him from 2002:
