Just watching World CHampionship Wrestling from 03/22/86.
 
On this episode....Leo Burke wrestles an enhancement talent.   During the match, Burke delievers a Pile Driver, and then a flying Leg Lariat for the pin.
 
After the match, Tony Schivone announces that the Pile Driver is banned in the NWA, and that Burke as now been DQ'd.
 
If the Pile Driver was banned in the NWA, why didn't referee "Pee Wee" Anderson Disqualify him during the match.
 
Plus, I had never heard the Pile Driver being banned before....was this something that was done for a short time or was it just that the NWA could take that a great Canadien Wrestler as Burke demolished one of their guys
