Very true, I remember seeing tons of that figure everywhere... definitely the epitome of "shelf warmer".

I have a couple of loose Dr. Death's figure; I assume you refer to the Jakks release from 1998/99 with the red shorts and white tank top ? Mint condition, let me know if you are interested.

Yeah, I remember the Jacqueline figures sitting on the shelves for the longest time.  
 
And not just a normal amount, but what seemed like cases upon full cases of just Jacqueline figures filling the shelves. Once Toys R Us opened a clearance center close to me, where they would esentially send items from other stores they no longer wanted. There was literally about 15 facings of Jackie figures. I went back in when the place was closing and bought up about 50 of them for only 0.20 a piece.
