GEORGE AND BILLY
Mar 29th, 2008, 9:48am

March 11, 1963
CHARLOTTE, N.C.

A couple of crowd-pleasing veterans, GEORGE BECKER and BILLY TWO RIVERS, will headline tonight's PARK CENTER wrestling card.

These two will tangle with CRUSHER ANGELO and ALDO BOGNI , a pair of oversized bullies, in a best of three falls skirmish with a 60-minute time limit.

The semifinals bout brings back THE GALLAGHER BROTHERS, DOC and MIKE, after an absence of several months to meet LARRY HULIN and LOUIS BONE. This one is set for two of three falls with a 45-minute limit.

BRONCO LUBICH, who is managed from ringside by the colorful HOMER O'DELL, opposes JOHNNY (Rubberman) WALKER in the main prelim.

DALE LEWIS goes against Big JIM GRABMIRE in the 8:15 p.m. opener.

Thank you for posting this Bolo. I appreciate all your research. This one is of great interest to me for several reasons.Bogni and Lubich had not yet formed their team which became so successful here in JCP. I would have also liked to have seen more of Mike and Doc Gallagher as a team. I only got to see them a few times on tv.
