Without a doubt, the most talent ever to be present in a professional wrestling ring at one given time.  The only thing I was looking for that didn't happen was to have BJ Mulligan come out after Steamboat, especially given he was in town for the HOF induction.  Very classy move by the WWE to basically shine the spotlight on the Mid Atlantic heroes and the NWA.

Not a dry eye on this end either.  I'm not a fan of WWE, but when they do things right I give them their due.  And you know what also came to my mind?  Nobody, not even Hogan, has gotten respect like that on their way out.  This is one of the classiest things I have ever seen the WWE offer.

I agree it was very classy.

Also, the reason why Hogan never got something similar is because Hogan never officially had a "last match". Also, WWE never brought up Hogan retiring on TV.

This had to have been the most emotional night of wrestling in my life.....Although I am still not sure why they gave Chris Jericho and John Cena special introductions with guys like The Horseman,Steamboat,Race,Valentine etc..

Might have been at Ric's request?  Who knows.
