Was Ole Anderson invited to RAW? (Read 1173 times)

MidAtlantic4ever #1 Contender Posts: 183 Gender:	Was Ole Anderson invited to RAW? Apr 1^st, 2008, 4:59pm I think I already know the answer but just wanted to know for sure. One would think he could put aside personal feeling for VKM. Who knows, I guess he isn't buddies with Flair either? Anyway, I hated that Ole wasn't there. Maybe it was wishful thinking on my part. I wonder if Ole will make any comments on Flair's retirement?

Wow. As a fan it would have definetly been one of the greatest moments of the past 15 years of wrestling. I was at wrestlemania and the feeling in the Citrus Bowl when Ric Flair came out was just awesome. I know there's personal feelings between the two and also Ole's complete hatred of Vince which is well deserved but man, that would have been cool if Ole showed up on Raw.

Reply #5 - Apr 3^rd, 2008, 6:39pm Ole and his view of the wwf is deserved and if you have ever sat and listened to him or read his book ( the best wrestling book ever) then you would understand why he views vince as the piece of filth that he is. Ole is overqualified to hate vince and he does not value vince in any way. An opinion that many share.

When Ole was appraoched to do the Horsemen DVD he turned them down because when he told Vince to F*** off in front of Linda (when Vince was trying to buy Georgia before the Brisco's sold it behind his back) Vince told him he'd never work in this business again

Ole said he turned him down as he didn't want to make Vince break his word Grin

I agree with your post Smoky Rob. Many of us in the wrestling community do share the same feelings as Ole. And Ole has a heck of a lot more reason then most of us. Ole never has backed down, so why do it now. We see him at Fanfest and that is were his heart is. Last year I had VIP #325 and out of every legend there at the autograph table, Ole was the only one that stayed the well past the time(3+ hours) to sign and meet his fans. Most of WWE would not spend 5minutes to greet there fans...but I guess it is the sign of the times. My wife even enjoyed meeting him and she has never been a fan of wrestling. Yes, I would have to say I would have had a heart attack if Ole walked out on RAW. My hat is off to a true wrestling Legend, Ole Anderson!!!! THANKS OLE!

I can't disagree with you on that point. I've seen him at various events and he can't stand anyone mentioning the 4 Horsemen. He'll talk about the days with Gene. Guess it depends on his mood.
I believe Ole and Gene set the standard in tag-team wrestling. And Ole could team with so many different partners and make a good team. He was so good at that.

Reply #13 - Jun 4^th, 2008, 1:24pm Very true that was evident in Georgia when he teamed with Ivan Koloff but less so when he teamed with Hansen they made it work but you could tell they weren't crazy about being paired together Sorry I'm getting off the subject of the thread just thought I'd throw that in Jeff
