It's really too bad Nick didn't learn his lesson with all those other speeding tickets, if he had, maybe this never would have happened.

Hopefully he'll learn his lesson now.

Look big daddy, it's regular daddy.

El Mariachi: You want me to shoot the cook?
Agent Sands: No. I'll shoot the cook. My car's parked out back anyway.

The whole Hogan/Bollea family is a disaster - Nick is a damned idiot. The parents share blame as well, with the tickets and his obvious lack of responsibility, put it all together, and this is what you get. Graziano will probably never recover, and the whole Hogan clan does nothing but talk trash about him ? I can't continue without repeated obscenities.

Agreed.

I was a major Hulkamaniac growing up in the '80s and actually cried when he lost the belt to Andre and Warrior. However, the man behind the character and the rest of his family have pretty much proven themselves to be lowlives who don't care about anything except money.

The fact that they've shown very little if any remorse over what happend to Nick's "friend" and have actually had the gall (stupidity?) to say all the things they have in a recorded conversation knowing full well that it's being recorded and may potentially be released to the public indicates that they are complete scumbags who deserve to have the Lord  "lay some heavy sh*t" on them.

Those comments are a little harsh.. while I'm not defending Hulk.. he was on the road with WWF and WCW for us fans most of the time when his kids were younger. He finally retired from wrestling and tried to make up lost time by giving his kids anything they wanted.. and unfortunately it  backfired. Terry did the same thing many of us would have done in his situation, if they had his money. Nick may be immature, but he did not intentionally paralyze his friend.

Meanwhile, those comments Hulk made on the recording are coming at a time when he is going through a divorce, facing a major lawsuit, and looking right at his own son in jail.
Can we at least have a little sympathy for what he, as a father, is going through?

No we can't Keith and here's why Hogan chose to stay in the business If he'd chosen his family he could've saved his kids, his marriage and John Graziano but the Ego-manical putz chose the business when he knew he was way past his prime

Piledriver, I know where you are coming from, but again, as the others have said, the Hogans' do not deserve sympathy. I, too loved Hogan growing up, and HAD a lot of respect for him, but after this fiasco, no, there is no sympathy left for any of them. If your family life is in the shambles that everyone seems to believe that it is, you don't throw it under a magnifying glass with a reality show. Terry is at fault for letting Nick have a car that he could not responsibly handle, but Nick is most at fault. I am sorry to correct you, but John Graziano is more than paralyzed. He will reportedly be in a vegetative state for the rest of his life, and will most likely never recover. I cannot find sympathy for Nick in this, for a couple reasons. He knew he had been drinking, underage. He knew that street racing was illegal. He did not seem to care. Youth is one thing, but a complete disregard for your passenger, and yourself ? What did he think was going to happen ? At over 100 miles an hour; there are a whole lot of what if's .... What if a child had walked into the road? What if a car had pulled into their path, and they killed the driver, or passenger, or someone else's child ? Nick is responsible ultimately for the accident, and the Hogan family blaming Graziano and then completely trashing his family is completely unforgivable. Then, when you consider Nick's only real mention of John was to say "he was a negative person", and then beg Daddy to get him out of jail, because "he can't handle it", and his next statement is regarding a reality show about how he "can make the most money" !!! I think Nick needs to realize how lucky he is to be alive; and secondly, realize what his actions did to his "friend". The phone calls with all three are sickening, and I think they all revealed their true selves. If anyone deserves sympathy, it's John Graziano.

Hulk Hogan will be on Larry King Live on Tuesday June 10.

Now we can hear his side of the story and not just 1 minute of a 30 minute
conversation he had with Nick in jail.

He's going on there to do damage control. Just like every other celebrity does when something negative happens. The short clip we heard is the real Hogan, especially when they never thought it would get leaked to the public. They probably even forgot all of the convos are recorded.
I sincerely hope nothing ever happens to one of your loved ones that leaves them in that state of being, then have someone say...let's have some sympathy for the other guy, when nothing is wrong with the other guy and they are trashing the poor victim. HH doesn't seem too upset about the divorce either, he had a new girlfriend right after. Either way, I don't give a JD Costello about his divorce or his "stress" after hearing his true colors. My heart goes out to John and his family and I hope they sue HH for everything he has. John survives Iraq and ends up like this because of some spoiled punk showing off.

There is no excuse.

Being on the road all those years.......so what !!!   Ric Flair was on the road much more than Hogan and his children turned out just fine.  Same with Dusty Rhodes.

Hulk Hogan the character may have trasformed wrestling, but Terry Bollea the man comes up a little short - from refusing to put over new talent to crap like this.
