"Inmate" belt (Read 780 times)

Renoyxx Rookie Posts: 12	"Inmate" belt Jun 10^th, 2008, 7:37pm Hi guys, newbie here. Pardon my ignorance What is the story behind the AWA belt being called the "inmate" belt.

Has anyone ever written a book about the stories behind the belts? Someone should consider it, they'd make a fortune.

But I would also write about MMA belts to fill it out and hopefully cross promote it between MMA and wrestling fans.

Nope. I won't have any Midwest leather belts signed. If there were any AWA champs that wore it, I'd get a picture with them and the belt though.

Well, What's the point in bringing them then? Or is it a "hey look at me" kinda thing?

We bring them so we can take photos with the previous champions holding OUR belt. Also there is a bunch of us from belt dedicated forums. We always get together at these things and check out other people's collections, etc.
