If they wanted to end this million dolllar give-away wouldn't it have been simpler to just say at the top of the show "This is last wee we'll be doing this?"

The "million dollar giveaway" is over. In some ways, I see this Vince angle as two-fold:
1) An out to the giveaway, which was going to stop anyway since it wasn't drawing ratings. Only reason it did the last week was because of the draft.
2) A way to get back to the angle he was running last year about his "death", though not quite as tragic. He can do this and go back to who is out to get him.
 
The shame of all of this is that they did this a week or so after a real-life accident of the sort happened after a TNA pay-per-view which killed a worker.
 
I did like the way they tried to sell it as legit with Vince calling Triple H by his real name, Paul.
