Well all the people who signed it actually held the belt, unlike the morons who would have Harley Race sign a WWF Cena belt.

Which should have told you the sig was a fake.  Like most sigs....  Which is why for RESALE purposes, sigs hurt a belts value.  No matter what ANYONE says, no matter HOW MANY pictures they show you of a pot bellied Ricky Morton signing one, you can NEVER prove the authenticity of a sig.

For your own PERSONAL satisfaction, however, sigs area great - if you are the one acquiring the sig.

Why are they morons?  If their goal is meet and get a sig from a legend, and its THEIR belt for their personal collection, who cares?

I guess you would have Wayne Gretzky sign a Derek Jeter card.

I was there for most all of those signatures, and if you want to try and debate me on the authenticity of the sigs or that belt, please feel free.  Myself, BeltFanDan and several other known belt collectors can attest to it.

I won't kill other people with my Wayne Gretzky autograph, thats the difference.  You seem to lack the ability to give a straight answer, and would rather insult than discuss.

Explain the logic behind having someone sign something that is not related to them?

I know there is some guy who has celebrities sign baseballs, but what is the point of having people sign wrestling belts they never held? These people are dense and lack common sense, then they wonder why they can't make their money back when trying to sell it.

Do like Dave did and only have people who held the belt sign it.

I don't know the answer here or the logic, but what does it matter really?

One of my friends bought an AWA belt at fanfest and had Ric Flair sign it. I'm thinking "What?"

But it was his money and what he wanted, and he was the happiest person in the world. For some people (my friend, at least,) it isn't about the belt's resale value. And it isn't for me to second-guess him either.

But you didn't think it made sense either right?

And it isn't about resale value primarily, but I have been around the belt game a long time. And for the majority of people, when they need cash the first things they will sell are their belts. They assume the autographs make them more valueable. But when you have people signing your belt who never held it, it decreases the value, and these same people scratch their head wondering why they lose money selling it.

Didn't make sense to me, but it's not my belt. I see your point and, for the most part, agree with it. But again, it's not my belt.

I think smoking cigarettes is stupid and it kills. I scratch my head and wonder why some folks continue to smoke, but I'm not going to start a crusade against it.
