Just checked Ticketmaster and they still have front row seats left for Sunday's Genesis PPV in Charlotte. $150 a pop plus $16.25 "convenience" charge.

If you type in the code STING at Ticketmaster.com in the section titled "Free Ticket Offer", you can get up to four free tickets for the TNA Genesis PPV this Sunday in Charlotte, NC. There will be the usual 75 cent processing fee per ticket.

Apparently they have pulled the free ticket offer from Ticketmaster.com

They stopped the free ticket offer at 10 pm on Friday. I got four free tickets in the upper bowl for $9.10 after all the fees. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. If they can't sell the tickets at full price, they probably won't be back. But charging $150 for ringside is unrealistic to begin with.

Plus, with an NFL playoff game in town the night before, I think a lot of people had to choose one or the other.

Good for you. Bad for TNA. It's also very telling that front row seats are still available for the show. I don't think you'll ever see another TNA show (or PPV,) in Charlotte.

It was my first TNA show and I dont think I would go see them again. I really only went to see Sting, but that was a short and awful match. We also went outside after the show to gte pics and Autos. We asked Rhino and he said " F**K ya'll you was probley in there booing me!" Of course everyone was this is NWA country and STing was one of the main guys. ODB came out and was signing for fans and Rhino walked back over said  lets go and told her to stop signing and come on. They also replaced Nash with Kip James ....that in its self was bad should have done a handicap and do a run in with someone. Did enjoy some of the undercard....6 man match, X divison champ match and then the Angle match was good also.

ok gang...believe it or not, i REALLY enjoyed this show. the only negatives i can give it was:

1. no Nash, though he wouldn't draw me anyway, but the fact that he was one of the main people to be advertised..now if the injury is legit, they might not have been able to have helped it., i don't know. but the replacement was a letdown...
2. ODB..no need for me to rehash my assessment of her here. she is an antrocious gimmick.
3. not delivering the KNOCKOUTS title match. ok, with Hemme out, they still advertised a title match and still should have had a title match.
4. Sting vs Rhino was way to short, even with the lie about Rhino being "late" and injured...(about 20 minutes before the guy first announced that Rhino hadn't showed up yet, he walked out from behind the curtain in his T-shirt and flip-flops looking around for a minute...)

other than that, i think it was a great show. and they would be STUPID to not come back to the Charlotte area SOON..but lower the ticket prices to be able to attract the fans, not run them off.

me and Garvinstomp had a great weekend. i got us a room at the University Hilton...sure was strange to be there without the Fanfest crowd....i missed everyone...
'til August.... Smiley

I thought the show was okay , I will never get every single X-division match move being a with no selling at all. All six-man tag matches always seem thrown together. Kip is not a suitable replacement for Nash. Rick Steiner or Stevie Ray would have been clever and would at least make sense.
According to the net' Sting , Kong , Hemme , and Nash were all injured...
Sting was awesome , just seeing him again after all these years! HINT! HINT! HINT!

I caught the show too.  Wasn't planning on going, but some free tickets fell in my lap.  It was enjoyable, much more so that one of the WWE tapings.  It had mostly wrestling matches instead of the stupid backstage crap.  I thought the Jarrett-Angle match was good right to the finish.

JBL-Cena guy is correct about the X division.  Too little selling.  I noted that the JJ-Angle match was good, but to have both guy kick out from the others' finish move, then end in a little roll up was kind of lame and anti climatic.

That's one thing I really have a problem with now.  A guy would use his finisher, and 9 times out of 10, he'd win a match with it.  Not anymore.  A guy gets hit with a chair shot...he should be done.  Not anymore.

I heard that Sting was actually injured going into his match with Rhino, which was why it was short and not-that-great. That was why TNA started the rumor that Rhino wasn't there, so Sting could win by forfeit and not have to wrestle that night. But, with both Christy Hemme and Kevin Nash out with more serious injuries, they really needed Sting to wrestle after all. Anyone else hear this? Any truth to it?

I thought the show was great.  The only disappointments for me were Nash not showing up and the Sting/Rhino match was a little short.  Angle vs. Jarrett was great as it should've been.  The battle of the Motor City Machine Guns was great as well.  TNA did a good job.  They just need to make their weekly shows better.

Found this by Mike Johnson at PWInsider.com:

LOTS OF TNA INJURY UPDATES
by Mike Johnson @ 2009-01-13 11:08:12

On my audio hotline yesterday in the PWInsider.com Elite section, I noted several injuries to members of the TNA roster. Here are updates on those injuries.

*I noted yesterday that Sting's match against Rhino went down the way it did due to knee issues. Sting has been having nagging issues with a number of injuries, including his knees and recently had both knees drained during TNA's break from live events in December.

*Kevin Nash had his elbow lanced yesterday due to the bad staph infection he's suffered. While TNA has said the infection was suffered while overseas, the belief among those I've spoken to is the infection may have been caused by some recent tattoo work Nash had done. There is still a lot of concern over the infection for Nash's health. He was in Charlotte and intended to wrestle up until the point he was taken to the hospital.

"We asked Rhino and he said " F**K ya'll you was probley in there booing me!"

If that is how he is then he should walks out of wrestling. If someone BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO him then they gave their money to do it and it put cash in his pocket. Without fans he would be at jack in the box working. So with someone like that it does not make me  cry cry cry when they get hurt and can't work.
