Wow, that hits close to home! I fondly remember guys like McNeill, along with Tim Blaze, "Rockin" Rob, LA Wild One, and so many others whose Alternative Championship and Tarheel Championship Wrestling shows I attended and enjoyed thoroughly. May I ask what he died from (was it unexpected)?

Thanks for letting us know, Tim. And RIP Jerry -you will be sorely missed.

A few years back I had the pleasure of meeting Jerry when he booked Wahoo on his show. He was truly a great guy and will be missed by alot of people. I know I will because he was my friend. Tim please let his family know I am thinking about them and they are in my prayers.

I first saw Jerry wrestle at the Asheboro National Guard Armory back in the early 1990's, and found him to be a really great guy. Later when he and Mr. Blaze were running the TWE shows , I had the opportunity to do some ring announcing for them, and in the course of being at the shows every week, talked to Jerry often. We had a few mutual friends, and Jerry often took the time to talk to me, or let me interview some of the wrestlers after the shows. I learned of his passing while out of town, and unfortunately did not get to pay my respects properly, but I thought I would post them here. Jerry McNeill was a great person, a great promoter, and he will always be missed by those who knew him. Thanks for the memories, Jerry.

Thank you also to Mr. Price for the forum to post.

RIP Jerry
