WEST Ventures, Inc. is pleased to announce a special one-night-only arrangement to bring Ric Flair's Original, Historic Starrcade '83 Ring Robe to Greensboro, NC on Saturday, Dec. 5 in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Nature Boy's 2nd NWA World Heavyweight Championship victory over Harley Race at the Greensboro Coliseum in 1983.
 
 
The Robe will be a part of a special display that also features Flair's Original NWA Championship belt, as well as an appearance by The Man himself! This is will be the first time in over two decades that Ric Flair will be reunited with his NWA belt and his original robe in the very town that pro wrestling can affectionately dub "Flair's 2nd Home."
 
Since 1999, Flair's World-Famous robe has been in the hands of NC-based wrestling referee Ron Mils (http://www. facebook.
com/home. php/pages/Referee-Ron-Mils/31506857218). This will be the first public display of the Robe under Mils' ownership, and perhaps the only time this piece of history will be made available for wrestling fans' picture-taking and appreciation.
 
 
Mils (www. myspace. com/westpotter), seen as one of the most promising referees on the independent circuit today, is known as much for his accomplishments in the ring as he is for his wrestling memorabilia collection and preservation outside of it. The private owner of several other Ric Flair artifacts including the boots Flair wore during his classic 1989 Chi Town Rumble match with Ricky Steamboat, and the boots from his 1991 victory at the WWF Royal Rumble, Ron Mils was once the owner of 3 original Ric Flair ring robes.
 
 
The "Starrcade" robe, however, has always been the crown jewel of his collection. "I've got a room full of stuff and a lifetime of stories, but above all, I cherish that Robe as the centerpiece of my collection, Mils said. It represents everything that Ric Flair embodied during his career, and every sequin and rhinestone is a little bit of history that has a story to tell. I understand Ric is excited to have the robe on display, and it is an honor to be involved." Ric Flair is appearing courtesy of Elaine Gillespie & The Gillespie Agency, and in conjuction with Premiere Wrestling Showcase at Greensboro's Proehlific Sports Complex on Jessup Road. The Ric Flair meet and greet begins at 6pm, with a 7:30 bell time.
