Jeff Hardy finally made his breakthrough into the upper echelon of WWE last night with a hard fought victory over Triple H and Edge to win his first WWE World Title !  I believe that the win has more significance than the average title change. Hardy has had a remarkable comeback, with the exception of the "Wellness" issues, and he has stolen the show in most of his big matches in the last year. The obvious comparison is to Shawn Michaels, and Jeff has the potential to be a great champion. Does anyone else see this as a huge step, possibly ushering in a new era in WWE ?  Back to the smaller, more agile aerial wrestlers ? Will they job him to Batista, or one of the other monsters on the roster ? I hope they give Jeff a decent run, at least six months, and give Matt the first title shot... I'd think that would be the first all  N.C. WWE title match ever ?

While I am thrilled to see Jeff Hardy win the title, and agreee that it was definitely his time to shine I am still very discontent with the current WWE product overall. Smackdown delivers a much better in-ring product. I rarely watch Raw these days. I usually read a sumamry of the results online. It will take a lot of good things to rejuvenate my interest in WWE. However, usually around Wrestlemania my interest gets stirred a considerable amount.
