Diva Maryse Injured In Raleigh Need Fan Info

Last Sunday 12-28-08 night in a house show in Raleigh NC new WWE Diva Champ Michelle Mccool was injured in a tag match teaming with Natalya Niedhart vs The bella Twins special ref Kung fu Naki when one of the bella twins missed a dropkick and kicked her in the knee cap and dislocated her knee she screamed in pain collapsed in the corner and only got attention from road agents and emts till after the match was over and agents tried to ghet her to walk it off then and only then when she couldnt the agents got emts to stretcher her to the ambulance and the hospital. Luckily the great heel diva champ wasnt hurt seriously and will return to Smackdown Jan 16th
 
This sounds like some very poor treatment of an injured wwe wrestler and champion by wwe officials not stopping the match and getting her emts as soon as it happened and having the injured diva try to walk it off is very stupid and uncaring
 
My question is Is there anyone on the forum who was in Raleigh and witnessed what really happened when WWE Diva champ Maryse was injured and how the injury was handled bythe WWE & EMTS present
 
 I want to know how it was handled

Must not have been that serious of an injury, as she appeared in a tag team match the next night at a WWE Smackdown house show in Richmond, VA.  In fact, she carried most of the match (exact same match you saw in Raleigh) and didn't show any signs of a previous knee injury.
 
Hmmm, could the injury have been "a work?"   Roll Eyes

From what I've heard they've been doing this "work" around the circuit. Can't imagine why. Smiley. Maybe because they're not talented enough to be in the ring anyway.

Maryse is talented and she worked a tag tag match in Richmond the next night so this is why Jim Ross didnt mention the injury on SD. I think she wasnt on SD because all the focus on making Michelle Mccool the most hated WWE Diva and she is doing a good job of it.

Where did you get your Maryse injury being a work from because its wrong. I went to the Wrestling Observer and several other well kmown Wrestling websites and Michelle Mccool is subbing for Maryse in House Shows  
 
Here is a recent Photo of Maryse on crutches and she definitely isnt ready to wrestle yet

First off, I was there at the house show in Richmond on the 29th and saw the match with McCool tagged with Natalya Niedhart vs the Bella Twins, and of course, Kung fu Naki referring.  Further, in your quote above, you said "Michelle McCool" was injured, but in your last post you say "Maryse" is the one that was injured and McCool is subbing for her.
 
So, who is it, who's supposed to injured ... McCool or Maryse?

According to WWE.com it's Maryse There are those who say this is a work and the above pic indicates the young lady is on crutches But it could be she's trying to sell the injury so they've asked her to appear in public on crutches

So Rich what do you think of Micelle Mccool as a heel now that you saw her in person beat up Maria I think shes doing a great job

Michelle McCool is very attractive, is quick in the ring and has a lot of offensive moves. On the downside her offensive moves are like one big, long high spot. There's no real wrestling mixed in. She probably doesn't know the difference in a wrist lock and a wrist watch. But, that's a sign of the times. Physique wise, up close and personal she's way too thin. Add 10 or 15 more pounds and she'd look more believable. But, again, that's a sign of the times of what today's wrestling fans want to see. Which is evident by the big pop she always seems to get when she enters the ring. That's what makes money for  her and Vince. After all, the bottom line in any promotion is the $$$$$$$$.  That being the case, she's on top for now.

I have to agree with Bolo on this one. He said what I thought. He must be some kind of mind reader or something. However, the only "Diva" that I have seen that really knows how to wrestle is Beth Phoenix. She had an amateur wrestling background in high school which went a long way in preparing her for professional wrestling. And she is married to a professional wrestler. Plus, she looks the part, and in my mind is still very attractive.  A close second to Beth Phoenix would Natalia Niedhart, as far as wrestling ability is concerned. But, she needs a bit more in ring experience.

Mr. Landrum you make a good point about Natalie Neidhart You got to be something special to survive Stu Hart's Dungeon but in order to get that experience you spoke of she's got to be used more on television and she's not I haven't seen her in the ring on tv in about 4 or 5 weeks Now TNA would bring her out more  
 
I didn't know that Beth wrestled in High School I'll have to pay more attention to her matches I wish I didn't have took a uni-brow guy but what you gonna do

I agree RIch that Michelle needs some weight she looks almost anorexic. Did you know she was a heel manager in the former wwe ovw training group. They sent her there to lose her Southern Accent UGH Whats wrong with her being a southern gal. On her wrestling I agree that she is more high spot offensive moves but I think fro outter knowing nothing about wrestling diva search runner up to top  diva heel  on Smackdown due to her hard work with guys like Bill Demott when she was in ovw and also her BF Mark Callous (undertaker) She never gonna be as good as a todays female wrestling greats like Sara Del Rey Cheerleader Melissa etc., but I think she does work a good match and has great facial looks for a heel and does decent promos. I think ppl are very critical of her because they think she uses her bf takers power to get ahead in the wwe diva division. Regardless of that Her heel turn has really livebed up Smackdown for me and I cant wait to watch it every week just to see what she will do next.

Did anybody notice on RAW 1-5-09 in the intergender tag match when Melina pinned Beth Phoenix with the bridge no part of her body was touching Beth's body LOL  
 
Michelle Mccool was at it again at the Smackdown taping 1-9-09 show after she and Victoria lost to the Bella Twins with one of the bellas pinned Victoria she attacked Victoria and debuted her new finisher the Styles Clash and leaves her laying in the ring getting big heat heat lots of boos and turning Victoria babyface setting up a feud between those two which will be good I think at least until Gail Kim debuts sometime right before or after WM25
 
There will be a match coming soon between Michelle & Eve Torres aqnd lets hope Eve can learn how to sell better than she did during her beatdown segment.

This a bit off topic but I thought i'd bring it up I wonder why no one in WWE is acknowledging the fact the Bella twins are the 1st Sister Tag team in Wrestling history Unless there was another sister tag team I missed but as 39 years as a fan I've seen plent of Brother teams but no sister teams  and they to my knowledge are the 1st and no one has even said a word I grant they're not realy spectacular in the ring but history is history
