When did Bob Caudle leave WCW?

I didn't see much of him since the early 90s, but I would say the appearance of Jesse Ventura, Mean Gene, and Bobby Heenan phased Mr. Caudle out of WCW.

He was there into late 1990. I'm pretty sure he was gone by the time 1991 started, long before Jesse, Gene, and Heenan showed up.

He was there until the very end of 1990 and actually co-hosted the Saturday night TBS show with Jim Ross at the start of 1991. One week he wasn't there and Jim Ross said he was on vacation "probably at home spending time with the grandkids" and he never returned after that.
Late in 1991 was when Jim Cornette started SMW and Cauddle was his play by play man.

Quite a long vacation. Must've used the same travel agent as Sean Mooney.

Between his stint in WCW and starting with Smokey Mountain, he was the announcer for South Atlantic Pro Wrestling.

Indeed he was, and I will take the credit for that
