01/13/1971 Charlotte, NC- Johnny Weaver defeated El Gaucho with a roll-up.
01/20/1971 Charlotte, NC- Johnny Weaver wrestled Dr. X to a draw.
01/27/1971 Charlotte, NC- Johnny Weaver & Bobby Kay lose 2/3 falls to the Masked Marvels.
02/02/1971 High Point, NC- Johnny Weaver defeats Pancho Valdez with a roll-up.
02/08/1971 High Point, NC- Johnny Weaver defeats Pedro Godoy with a roll-up.
02/09/1971 Charlotte, NC- Johnny Weaver & George Becker defeat the Masked Marvels. Johnny & George got one of the masks off, so the Marvels ran and were counted out.
02/16/1971 High Point, NC- Johnny Weaver & George Becker defeat Kurt Stroheim & Joe Turner.
02/17/1971 Charlotte, NC- Johnny Weaver & George Becker defeat Rip Hawk & Swede Hanson.
02/23/1971 High Point, NC- Johnny Weaver pins Bob Brunell with a roll-up.
03/03/1971 Charlotte, NC- Johnny Weaver & George Becker try to win the Atlantic Coast Tag Team belts from Rip Hawk & Swede Hanson. Hawk & Hanson. Hawk & Hanson lose by count-out when they run from the ring but keep the belts.
03/16/1971 High Point, NC- Johnny Weaver pins Joe Soto with a roll-up. Johnny Weaver gets in to it with Art Nelson and tears Art’s jacket off on this show.
03/17/1971 Raleigh, NC- Johnny Weaver & George Becker wrestle Rip Hawk & Swede Hanson on this episode. Playboy Gary Hart puts the piledriver on Johnny Weaver during  one fall of the match. The two teams are still fighting when the show goes off the air. TV time limit draw.
03/23/1971 High Point, NC- Johnny Weaver wrestles the Missouri Mauler on this show. Art Nelson is the special referee. When Johnny gets the sleeper on Mauler, Art Nelson disqualifies Weaver, saying Johnny was choking Mauler.
03/24/1971 Raleigh, NC- Johnny Weaver & George Becker defeat Pedro Godoy & Tony Romano.
03/31/1971 Raleigh, NC- Interview
04/07/1971 Charlotte, NC- Johnny Weaver defeats Bill Bowman with a roll-up.
04/13/1971 High Point, NC- Johnny Weaver defeats Jim Grabmire with a roll-up.
04/14/1971 Charlotte, NC- Johnny Weaver & George Becker defeat Kurt Stroheim & Joe Turner.
04/21/1971 Raleigh, NC- Johnny Weaver defeats Kurt Stroheim with a roll-up. Later Johnny gets into it with Playboy Gary Hart. When Johnny puts the sleeper on Hart, Rip Hawk comes out to save Hart.
04/28/1971 Charlotte, NC- Johnny Weaver wrestles Pedro Godoy. When Johnny gets the sleeper on Godoy, Rip Hawk & Swede Hanson jump Johnny. Godoy loses by DQ because of outside interference.
05/05/1971 Raleigh, NC- Johnny Weaver defeats Bulldog Lee Henning with a roll-up.
05/12/1971 Charlotte, NC- Johnny Weaver & George Becker wrestle Gene Anderson & Art Nelson. Both teams get disqualified.
05/25/1971 High Point, NC- Johnny Weaver & George Becker defeat Jim Grabmire & Bulldog Lee Henning.
05/26/1971 Charlotte, NC- Johnny Weaver defeats Joe Turner with a roll-up.
06/02/1971 Raleigh, NC- Johnny Weaver wrestles Matti Suzuki. Art Nelson comes in and stomps on Johnny. No contest.
06/09/1971 Raleigh, NC- Johnny Weaver & George Becker lose to Gene Anderson & Art Nelson. Art Nelson comes off the tope rope on Johnny and gets the pin.
06/15/1971 High Point, NC- Johnny Weaver wrestles Frank Morrell. When Johnny applies the sleeper to Morrell, Gary Hart interferes. Morrell gets disqualified because of outside interference.
06/16/1971 Charlotte, NC- Johnny Weaver defeats Jim Dillon with a “ Sunset Flip.”
06/23/1971 Charlotte, NC- Johnny Weaver defeats Jim Grabmire.

07/14/1971 Raleigh, NC- Johnny Weaver & Argentina Apollo defeat Frank Morrell & Bill Bowman.

09/01/1971 Charlotte, NC- Johnny Weaver was scheduled to wrestle Joe Soto. Notes say “ didn’t work.”
09/14/1971 High Point, NC- Johnny Weaver defeats Frank Morrell with a roll-up.
09/15/1971 Raleigh, NC- Johnny Weaver & George Becker defeat Krusher Karlson & Jim Grabmire.
09/21/1971 High Point, NC- Johnny Weaver, George Becker & Argentina Apollo wrestle Missouri Mauler, Brute Bernard & Art Nelson on this show. Johnny’s ribs get injured in the first fall. Johnny goes to dressing room, tapes up his ribs and comes back out during the second fall and cleans house. No contest.
09/29/1971 Raleigh, NC- Johnny Weaver & Argentina Apollo defeat Tinker Todd & Frank Morrell. During their interview, the tape of the Sept. 21, 1971 TV match from the High Point show is shown.
10/05/1971 High Point, NC- Johnny Weaver & George Becker defeat Joe Soto & Jim Grabmire. ( This would be the last time that Johnny Weaver and George Becker would wrestle as a team on a Jim Crockett TV show. Also Johnny’s records indicate that the last match that he and George Becker ever wrestled as a team was on Saturday October 16,1971 in Shelby, NC. They won over Rip Hawk and Swede Hanson .)
10/06/1971 Raleigh, NC- Johnny Weaver wins by DQ over Johnny Heidman. When Johnny gets the sleeper on Heidman, Rip Hawk interferes by attacking Johnny Weaver.
10/13/1971 Charlotte, NC- Interviewed by Big Bill Ward.
10/20/1971 Raleigh, NC- Johnny Weaver wrestles Gene Anderson to a draw. During an interview, Johnny Weaver punches Art Nelson.
10/27/1971 Raleigh, NC- Johnny Weaver & Argentina Apollo challenge the Missouri Mauler & Brute Bernard for the Atlantic Coast Tag Team belts on this show. Weaver & Apollo win the first fall. During the second fall, manager Homer O’Dell hits Apollo with his cane causing his team to be disqualified. Though they lost two straight falls, Mauler & Bernard kept the belts due to the DQ.
11/04/1971 Raleigh, NC- Interview
11/09/1971 High Point, NC- Johnny Weaver defeats Krusher Karlson with a roll-up. During an altercation with Art Nelson, Johnny Weaver tears Art’s shirt off.
11/10/1971 Charlotte, NC- Johnny Weaver defeats Joe Soto with a roll-up.
11/17/1971 Charlotte, NC- Johnny Weaver defeats Frank Morrell with a roll-up.
11/24/1971 Raleigh, NC- Johnny Weaver defeats Johnny Heidman with a roll-up.
12/01/1971 Charlotte, NC- Johnny Weaver defeats Bill Bowman with a roll-up.
12/07/1971 High Point, NC- Johnny Weaver defeats Jesse James with a roll-up.
12/08/1971 Charlotte, NC- Johnny Weaver defeats Tony Romano.

12/15/1971 Raleigh, NC- Johnny Weaver wrestles Matti Suzuki on this show. Suzuki turns heel and throws salt in Johnny’s eyes for the win.

More fantastic material. Apparently, Johnny liked destroying Art Nelson's wardrobe.

I don't know who Dr. X was Bolo. I only saw him a couple of times on tv. He was not here very long.

Oh, man! I remember that salt throwing by Suzuki. Teamed with Rock Hunter after that. Thanks for the memory, Mr. Hall.

You are very welcome sir.You know, each time Johnny wrestled Matti on tv over the previous couple of years, I wondered each time if Suzuki would become frustrated and turn. He finally did.
