(Note: this was done for the syndicated markets in Virginia, West Virginia and South Carolina. Becker & Weaver had already removed the boot at a house show in Winston-Salem, NC on July 1, 1967.)

02/21/1968 Charlotte, NC- Johnny Weaver beat Hiro Matsuda. The Missouri Mauler interfered in the third fall of this match when Johnny had the sleeper on Hiro Matsuda causing the DQ.  
02/21/1968 Raleigh, NC- Johnny Weaver has an altercation at this taping with Missouri Mauler & Hiro Matsuda. They ripped Johnny’s jacket up. (They must have been flying from Charlotte to Raleigh or vice versa in order to be at both tapings.)
02/27/1968 High Point, NC- Johnny Weaver pins Jesse James with a roll-up
02/28/1968 Charlotte, NC- Johnny Weaver & George Becker beat Ronnie & Terry Garvin
03/05/1968 High Point, NC- Johnny Weaver & George Becker lose the Southern Tag belts to Gene & Lars Anderson on this show. The belts were later held up. This led to a big match on Greensboro, NC between the two teams.

10/30/1968 Charlotte, NC- Johnny Weaver wins over Billy Hines with a spinning toe hold. Later in the show after Johnny Weaver gets involved with Missouri Mauler and Hiro Matsuda. They tear Johnny’s shirt off.

If you go the WGHP Studio page on the Mid-Atlantic Gateway.checkout the color photos of Charlie Harville interviewing Mr. Wrestling and Johnny Weaver. In the photo with Mr. Wrestling you can see Leon Baxter standing in the ring behind Charlie Harville.
