Baltimore Arena memories
Apr 2nd, 2009, 7:30am

It was one of the most historic venues for pro wrestling, dating back to the 1960s, and still stands today as the 1st Mariner Arena.

What were some of your favorite memories from the Baltimore Arena? Did you attend any shows?

To jog some memories, I've created a new page dedicated to the Baltimore Arena on The History of WWE.com website. It's still a work in progress but a good chunk of the late 80s and 90s are represented.

And if you can add anything to what's already posted, let me know.

been there 3 times.

Crockett Cup '87 (both nights)
GAB '90
GAB '91

two of the biggest moments of my time involved with this business were in the Baltimore Arena.
the pop of when Terry Allen came out, just six months after his car wreck, to the fans was incredible. one of the most magical moments ever. so emotional words can't describe.
the moment Sting pinned Flair to win the NWA title at GAB '90 was almost as huge as my previous comment. don't ever recall a crowd that loud before.
