I don't know about anyone else, but I was disappointed in Wrestlemania 25.

My main complaint was not the goofy storylines (the Diva match was flat out stupid), but the fact that there was so much FILLER in that show.    Kid Rock sang for almost 10 minutes before the Divas came out, before every match there was a video highlight reel, there were segments on all the festivities............geez, folks in Houston must have been getting bored between the matches.

The only match I saw that got me excited was Undertaker / Shawn Michaels.

At 30 bucks, it would have been worth it for the fun.   But this thing was 60 damn dollars.    I'd be curious to see how many "buys" Vince had last night.

Thoughts and comments ...

-- If nothing else, the Undertaker-Shawn Michaels match is worth the show. That match alone stole the show and will go down as one of the Top 5 matches in WrestleMania history.
-- Kid Rock's mini-concert was not only way too long, but seemed out of place. I wouldn't have minded a 10-minute concert, per se, similiar to what the NFL does at the Super Bowl but to do it 25-30 minutes into the show just killed the momentum that should've been built off the Money in the Bank match.
-- HHH and Randy Orton. Why? That match seemed very unorganized. I know the finish will lead to more tonight on Raw since Orton can claim all sorts of things --- HHH hitting the referee, using the sledgehammer, etc. The match was just lacking. I can live with the no run-ins. That's a nice change, but it just didn't live up to the hype.
-- The Diva Battle Royal was a waste of time. Between the Kid Rock concert and that match, that's 25-30 minutes of our lives we won't get back. Why promote the 25 divas and the ones coming back when they don't get introduced, hardly any face time, etc.
-- I was OK with CM Punk winning MITB again, but I thought Kofi Kingston or MVP should've won.
-- Ricky Steamboat looked good for his age, no question. Was he is the Ricky of old? No. But for someone in his 50s, he put up a heck of a match with Jericho.
-- Matt vs. Jeff was solid, but, again, like HHH-Orton it seemed to be lacking something to me. But it wasn't as bad as HHH-Orton.
-- Thought they handled the Mysterio-JBL situation pretty well, though I would've liked to have seen more than a 21-second match.
-- Triple threat was OK. Not great, but certainly not bad. Just hard to follow Undertaker and Michaels.

All in all it was an OK show. It wasn't the best WrestleMania, by far. But it wasn't the worst, either. This show will forever be remembered for the Undertaker-Michaels match and the lack thereof that surrounded it.

After last night's battle royal does anyone think like I do that  Gail Kim killed her career by leaving TNA and returing to the WWE?

In my opinion, this was one of the worst Wrestlemanias ever. It seemed like it was just thrown together. The MITB match was decent. The Divas Battle Royal was a train wreck. Jericho getting knocked out by Mickey Rourke was pointless. Hardy vs Hardy had some nice highspots. Not showing the Tag Team Unification match was wrong. Kid Rock was out of place. Cena/Show/Edge was a disaster. HBK/Taker was ok but I wished it was a Loser Leaves WWE match. Retire already. HHH/Orton match had a pointless ending. Total waste of money and 4 hours I can never get back.

As much as I enjoyed the HOF ceremony the night before, WM sucked for me personally. I would've much rather seen it on TV than live. And I didn't see much. Great seats on the floor, but when you have floor-level seats 100 rows back, naturally, those folks near the back aren't gonna see much. But if you're a mark for the entrances and being on the aisle at the stage, I guess the seats were great. But the "atmosphere" did nothing for me.

it was a one match show that offered too many rematches or old storylines to be much else.if you threw darts at the names of their stars , you'd end up with some form of Orton , Jericho , Edge , Cena , Show , HHH fighting each other in some way , shape or form. Outside of HHH fighting Batista since HHH never beat Big Dave , there is no other hands to play... Angry create more stars!

That's kind of how I feel about a lot of things now, NASCAR would be a great example of better on TV. Everybody should experience some events live but why have nose bleed seats at a huge price when the perfect view was on TV. But then I go and buy U2 tickets in the top rear of a football stadium six months before the concert, so what do I know.

The answer to this is defined by whether or not she is making more money, not what happened in the battle royal.

Shawn Michaels is the man(next to Flair). I have never seen a bad shawn michaels match. There are good matches, and great matches, and then there are matches with shawn michaels.
