I really enjoyed the article on Rip and the kids at the YMCA. In the article, Rip did a great job of stradling the Kayfabe line. I've always said the real life stories are better than anything a promoter could imagine.

I really enjoyed the webblog too. I was reading it over lunch yesterday and found myself on the site for about 2 hours saying "Wow, I never knew he wrestled here...". It was great looking at a lot of the old pictures and reading your insights on the way it was back in the day.

The family shots with Johnny Weaver, Penny Banner and daughter Wendy was really neat to look at. It was a slice of Americana from the 50s and 60s and seeing them reminded me of my parents who wouldve been about the same age as Johnny and Penny.

Good stuff and thanks

Mike does a GREAT job on his blog. I, too, really enjoying reading his blogs about the "golden days" of wrestling. And I love seeing the old pictures, some of which are hilarious!  Great job, Bolo! Thanks for doing this.
