Question about David Von Erich ......

I know i should put this in the WCCW forum. But, anyway is it true that Daivd was going to be NWA Champion for along time. If he hadn't died? He would have won the title at Texas Stadium instead of Kerry. I've  heard that many time over the years.Or is that just the WCCW fans wishful thinking?

David was suppose to get a run with it and I think he was suppose to win it at Texas Stadium on the day Kerry won it. As far as to how long he was going to hold the title, I do not know that. I would guess maybe 6 months to a year.

Thanks, i always wondered if that was true.But, with JCP taking over the NWA. I don't think he would have been champ long.
