What was Don Harris's gimmick?

Was his gimmick in Continental similar to when he and Ron were Eligh and Jacob in WWF?

He went by Don "The Stomper" Harris in the CWF. He aligned himself with Dr. Tom Prichard, among others. Basically, I thought he was just a "roughhouser" or however you say that.
