They have been real busy at the Wal Mart down there from what he tells me they are switching many workers and doing renovations...

Anybody know how this particular walmart gets all these wrestlers? I wish the one's near me would - Burlington isn't too far but far enough if you know what I mean. Also, I agree that I would pay a small amount if it would cut down the line from people just going through becuase it is free. They could even donate the money to charity but I am guessing they want the sponsorship deal instead of just being peddling wrestler's autographs.

Right now it looks like it will be Mick because he will be doing a TNA show close to Burlington. I will be speaking with Brock again next Thursday at 12:30p.m.......

flairandhogan11 Champion Posts: 369 Gender:	Re: NC signings Reply #32 - Oct 15^th, 2009, 12:20pm Wall Mart pays them to appear just like a vendor would pay them to appear at Fanfest the only difference is that Wal Mart gets sponsors like Pepsi or Coca Cola to help pay the booking fee's....

Maybe Mick considers that close enough, I think from TN he can just hit the interstate and get to Burlington pretty easily.

If you knew Brock you know that he rather me call to find out especially when they do not advertise when the wrestlers are coming except locally and you have to call and find out when they will be there they do not call you....... Ok, well let me clarify.

The appearance Flair made was likely part of a Coca-Cola-sponsored signing, with almost nothing to do with Walmart on a local level.

I don't know about the other two, but I'd be surprised of there is a Walmart in the Southeast that hasn't had an Ivan Koloff appearance.

But the "blowing smoke" comment I made was in reference to what I believe your Walmart contact is doing to you. I believe earlier you wrote that he'd told you they'd sent in the contract to the agent and was just waiting to see if Mick or Dusty signed it. Sorry, but that's just not the way business is done. I'm not arguing and certainly not accusing anyone of doing anything bad, but I just think the guy is "pulling your leg," as we say down south.
