Rise & Fall Of WCW DVD

Overall, a good DVD that was surprisingly fair to the company, and in particular, Bischoff. If you've seen the Monday Night Wars, History Of Starrcade, or any of the Ric Flair DVDs, there are no real revelations here. It was nice to finally hear from Jim Crockett himself. I hope he does more of these things in the future.

Here's my question...on the DVD, David Crockett gave the impression he was still involved with WCW right up until the very end. I thought he had left the company many, many years before. Can anyone clear that up for me?

I want to say he was doing something on the production part of it but nothing backstage as far as booking or what not.

David Crockett was involved with the television production with WCW. I remember him yelling at someone to be carefull of his cables that were running across the floor at the Roanoke Civic Center during one of the televised events.

It was REAL good to hear from Jim Crockett Jr. I was starting to wonder where he had been and what he looked like now. I was surprised to hear how much he had to say. It seemed he had a lot bottled up in him, and he needed to get it all out. I haven't heard him talk this much even when he made on camera appearances on TBS's "World Championship Wrestling" It was also good to hear him admit the mistakes he and the others made. You could tell he regretted them. He had such a lucrative company before Ted bought him out.

I too enjoyed the DVD very much would recommend to anyone. Seemed as if David Crockett is still emotional to the passing of WCW
